医院骑士团

医院骑士团，也称耶路撒冷、罗得岛及马耳他圣约翰主权军事医院骑士团、圣约翰骑士团、医护骑士团、马耳他骑士团、以及马耳他骑兵团，它是十字军东征时期的一个基督教组织，标志是一个有着黑色背景的白色十字架。

医院骑士团成立的目的是为了照顾耶路撒冷的穷人、病人或受伤的朝圣者。但更多的时候，它则是一个帮助十字军东征的军事组织。

成员

1191年，医院骑士团进驻刚被征服的阿卡城的穷人区。骑士团的大教长加尼尔·德·纳布卢斯亲自管理该地区的医院，在那里，“病人们”被迫进行着药物实验。

在军事方面，医院骑士团则起着维护和平的作用。在阿卡城里，你能看到很多医护布道者在传教和帮助平民。

医院骑士团是十字军东征时期的几个骑士团中的一个，他们的任务是为圣地的病人提供治疗和护理。

The Knights Hospitalier were the only faction of Crusaders without high-ranking soldiers, aside from informant targets.
In Assassin's Creed, the armor and uniform of Knights Hospitalier guards was strikingly similar to that of the high-ranking Templar crusaders in the Holy Land, with the primary difference being the black and white coloring of the Hospitaliers, as opposed to the red and white of the Templar crusaders.
In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, the simulated location of Rhodes in the Animi Training Program contained a Knights Hospitalier fortress. In reality, during the 15th century, the Knights Hospitalier held sovereignty over the island.
Hospitalier Captains could be seen behind King Richard in the crowd when the latter was confronted at Arsuf, and during some of the investigations conducted by Altaïr.
The Hospitaliers still exist as the Order of Saint John, although they no longer serve a military function.
