Although he and his department knew about the graffiti from a previous simulation, no files pertaining to Hathaway's session had turned up. After Hathaway went quiet upon learning of this, Morgenstern asked if he wanted him to follow up, which Hathaway refused and ended the call.[2] Another few days later, Morgestern's unawareness of the subject was later brought up within the Inner Sanctum of the Templars by Hathaway to the Abstergo CEO Alan Rikkin.[3]
