War Efforts was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[]
Eivor spoke to Ciara in Durrow to seek out alliances with the neighboring kingdoms.
Dialogue[]
Eivor went inside the throne room of King's Land to find Ciara waiting for her.
- Ciara: Aililiú! Eivor! I am glad to see you.
Eivor spoke with Ciara.
- Ciara: I reckon Flann and Bárid have found common ground, seeing as you're still here.
- Eivor: They have.
- Ciara: Ara, and how much of your charm seeped into that conversation?
- Eivor: I merely showed the High King I'm a Norse he can trust.
- Ciara: It's more than that. You've certainly left your mark here. Sure, I think Flann is fond of you.
- Eivor: Is he the only one?
- Ciara: You're not shy, are you?
- Eivor: Just perceptive.
- Eivor: Flann has ambitions. I am the means to achieving them. That is why I am here.
- Eivor: You're kind to butter me, but it's not why I have come.
- Eivor: We need to curry favor with as many kingdoms as we can. Flann said you could help with that.
- Ciara: Aye. The kings of Ireland have long sent their grievances to the High King's court in hopes their pleas be heard. Their problems range from petty squabbles to larger issues. I've taken the liberty of sifting through them, choosing the ones that might illicit the best response.
- Eivor: I see. The bigger the favor, the bigger the reward.
- Ciara: There you have it. Keep an eye for pigeon coops. That's where I'll leave any noteworthy tasks. Help solve their woes, and the kings'll pay tribute with the men and supplies we need to invade Ulster.
Eivor left Ciara and headed to the nearest pigeon coop to read the royal demands. Eivor accepted three royal demands and headed out to accomplish them. One by one, Eivor completed every task and was nearing the end of her last royal demand.
- Eivor: Halfway there.
Eivor completed her last royal demand and raised enough good influence with Meath's kings to gain their support.
Outcome[]
Eivor raised a good amount of influence in Meath to garner the Meath kings' support.
