Valtar was a Norseman who lived in the Viking settlement of Ravensthorpe in England during the 9th century.

He mainly served as a warrior for the Raven Clan, joining raiding parties aboard the personal longship of the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir.^[1]
