Database entry renders

Hey, Touloir.

Do you think you get some more renders of the Unity database entries? We're rather short on those.--Bovkaffe (talk) 17:18, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

No worries, I'm on it ! It might take some time, but I'll eventually upload more. TOULOIR, membre du Conseil parisien (discussion) 17:33, May 18, 2016 (UTC)
Great, thanks!--Bovkaffe (talk) 14:14, May 19, 2016 (UTC)

Élise's Letters

Hey Touloir, Darman here. Got a question for you: Are you sure the page image for Élise's letters is of her letters? I ask because if you zoom into the image, all three visible pages share the text from the letter Arno finds in "The Supreme Being" (Monsieur, As you have been the savior of the Republic, ... Yours in patriotism, Marie-Joseph Chénier). The letter was addressed to Maximilien de Robespierre and signed by Marie-Joseph Chénier, not addressed to Arno and signed by Élise. --Darman (talk) 01:30, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

I noticed that too, but I can assure you I took this from Élise's letters database entry. By the way, Chénier's letter doesn't have one, it just pops up in the memory. --User:Touloir (discussion) 10:46, May 25, 2016 (UTC)
Ok, thx. Ain't it great when Ubisoft goofs on "fact checking"? However, while you can never get all the problems, you should rectify as many as you can find.
Edit: When I meant "you", I meant it generally, not personally. Perhaps should've used "they". The trivia is appreciated, but I didn't intend to pressure you. --Darman (talk) 23:27, May 25, 2016 (UTC)
Nonononono, no need to feel concerned about this (glad you were though), I did so of my own will ^^ Touloir (Talk - Discussion) 23:39, May 25, 2016 (UTC)

Plural of bec de corbin

Hey Touloir, just a quick question about French grammar since I'm such a noob at the language: what is the plural of bec de corbin? From what I've learned, I assumed that it would be "becs des corbins" due to the rules of agreement, but according to Wiktionary, it's "becs de corbin". If Wiktionary is correct, can you explain the reasoning? Thank you. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 01:49, August 28, 2017 (UTC)

Hey! Wiktionary is right, it's "becs de corbin". Corbin is a popular synonym of "corbeau" meaning crow, thus "bec de corbin" translates to crow beak. The same way crow beak's plural is "crow beaks", the plural form of "bec de corbin" is "becs de corbin". —Touloir, Master Pisspot, French AC wikia admin 08:45, August 28, 2017 (UTC)

French wiki Encyclopedia plagiarism

Hey Touloir, can you share that comparison image of the French wiki with the French Encyclopedia and how Ubisoft completely plagiarized the wiki's content? I believe you shared it on Reddit, but it's so far back it's almost impossible to trace. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 13:10, March 22, 2018 (UTC)

It wasn't the French Encyclopedia (I don't even own it) but some calendar named "Un an avec la Confrérie des Assassins" from 2015. It's the editor's fault (Hugo & Cie), not Ubisoft's. Here are some highly suspicious examples : Connor, WilliamTouloir, French AC and TES wikias admin 13:23, March 22, 2018 (UTC)

So the text on the wiki was only written after the calendar came out? -- Master Sima Yi Talk 13:29, March 22, 2018 (UTC)

This version of Connor is from April 2015 but William dates back to 2012. — Touloir, French AC and TES wikias admin 13:36, March 22, 2018 (UTC)

Lisa Yang?

Hello Touloir, I was wondering if you happen to have a copy of the French version of Assassin's Creed: Blade of Shao Jun. Currently, there's confusion over her Western name because while her Japanese name is Kō Risa, which in Mandarin would be Huang Lisa, Access the Animus reported that her name in English will be Lisa Yang. The surname is entirely different. I am planning to move our page on the character to Kō Risa until we can verify her official English name, but one of our editors thought that we could first check with the French version of the manga to see how her name is rendered there. You can read more about the issue at Talk:Lisa Yang. Thanks for the help! Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 06:46, June 29, 2020 (UTC)

Hey there ! Sorry, I'm a bit out of the loop with AC (kind of putting this license on hold). However, based on several French reviews I've found, her name is "Lisa Huang". — Touloir, French AC and TES wikias admin 18:11, June 29, 2020 (UTC)
