Hi, welcome to Assassin's Creed Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Ezio Auditore de Firenze page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Richard1990 (Talk) 21:28, 21 June 2009

Hey. We are going through a category restructurization here, please stop adding articles to the "plot" category. Thanks. -- D. Cello 20:36, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Hey. Why the "delete" tag on secondary characters pages? At least give us a reason why should be considered for deletion. -- D. Cello 14:01, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

Sima, I had to add your award medal for improving Mailk's page, and it needed a userbox case, so I added it to your userpage. Maybe it was a little out of my way, since we rather have people (and only people) edit their own userpages, but hope you don't mind. -- D. Cello 17:07, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Sima. You're alive? oO -- D. Cello 02:21, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm alive. I'm not as active, I know, but that's because I have just bought Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City and my interest is currently more with Grand Theft Auto. Though I'm not away for good, if that is what you're thinking. :P -- Master Sima Yi 07:55, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
(Very late response) Ah, nice. I've never managed to really play GTA, I usually just mess around when I have enough patience. Actually, I don't even own the game. Episodes is good? -- D. Cello 04:03, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, well for me it is. Episodes from Liberty City has both pieces of DLC for GTA IV on one single disc. I don't know if you're familiar with GTA: San Andreas, but one of the DLCs, The Ballad of Gay Tony, is about as over the top as GTA: SA was. -- Master Sima Yi 05:25, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I played San Andreas. Never got past San Franscisco and a bloody toy airplane mission. The game just doesn't have juice for me. But 4 was a little more.. fun. With the crashing cars and the guy flying through the windshield thing XD
Let's face it, we all love over-the-top, unninterrupt, sensenseless chaotic fun =P -- D. Cello 15:51, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Yep, we all do XD. Except when you get tired of being killed all the time... -- Master Sima Yi 16:58, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

Sima, why you removed those 3 trivia bits from Ezio's page? Provide an explanation in the summary when you do things like that or I'll end up reverting your edit. -- D. Cello 18:29, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Because it can all be read in his biography. There was no need to put in the trivia. -- Master Sima Yi 18:43, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Good enough. Just remember to add the reason ;D -- D. Cello 19:51, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Phil, I need to talk to you. We're gonna have problems woth those badges x.x -- D. Cello 22:21, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Sima, what was that "currently absent" thing ahead of my name on projects pages? XD
By the way, you realized we got an improvement of at least 1000 edits in 2 days and over 30 useful articles? All because of the badges. People really, really like them. -- D. Cello 23:26, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
You said that I have the tell the folks on the projects page that you were absent for about a week because something came up. And maybe we have 1000 edits in 2 days, but how many of them actually improved the pages? -- Master Sima Yi 09:51, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
And if I see anyone getting a high opinion of himself because they're high on the leaderboard, I think I'll getting the sudden urge to block them out of self respect. XD -- Master Sima Yi 09:56, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
You have white card on that. ;D -- D. Cello 15:07, July 24, 2010 (UTC)

AC Bloodlines articles

hi there~! Seeing your contributions, I think you might be able to help adding the links to this template Template:ACB. What say you? :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:30, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

Hi again~! well.. when you create articles related to AC2, could you please add the links to that article in the Template:ACII? I kinda lost track here XD - SilverSummonerTaLk 12:17, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

heya there! What do you think of joining Istruttori a.k.a rollbacks? =D - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:30, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Istruttori Guild

Welcome to the Istruttori.
You now have the honor to use a Istruttore Badge on your profile, just insert {{ist}} on top of the page.
Information about your duties and a list of fellow companions of the team can be acessed at the Istruttori project page. As a Istruttore, you also have acess to the rollback function, which allows you to revert vandalisms or bad-faith edits with one click, on a quickier and pratical way. Safety and peace. -- D. Cello 17:22, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Please can I become a member of the Istruttori because my main quality is excellent historical knowlege which is why I would be a helpful member.Andrew nicholson 17:46, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Sima. Remember to check the Featured and Good vote pages regularly. ;] -- D. Cello 18:11, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, man. :) - Master Sima Yi 06:28, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

Guys, User:Reqυiem is now a Istruttore. The guy done a great job, completely redone AC2 page in a few days. Assassin's Creed II is now a Featured Article. There are lots of articles who need improvement to featured, mainly Lucy, Desmond, Ezio and Vidic, the series protagonists. So go, Istruttoi, let's get to work. -- D. Cello 20:52, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed Wiki:Good Article Nominations, vote needed, remember to check periodically. -- D. Cello 15:08, February 3, 2010 (UTC)

Guys, I'll say once again: we need revamp on Giovanni and Lucy page (for starters). You're the upholders of awesomeness in this wiki, let's work on those articles ASAP! -- D. Cello 15:38, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

People, vote. We have nominations going for mre than a week and less than 3 votes in there. As istruttori, as moderators of this wiki, your votes are REQUIRED. So please, access the bloody page, damn it! -- D. Cello 02:26, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Sima, would you mind creating a page for the secret templar locations? You can find the redlink at the news section in the main page.
btw, try to acess the IRC once in a while, the more people we have, the more will attract. ;D -- D. Cello 20:53, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

Okay Istruttori, you probably realized that I'm putting some real time on making userboxes (it's almost a new useless sunday hobbie), and now you have one too! Just add {{UserIst}} to your userbox gallery. And remeber to check the vote page regularly. -- D. Cello 23:34, February 19, 2010 (UTC)

Guys, User:The Theif is your newest fellow Istruttore. Give him a warm welcome!(and pranks, hit on his sister, kick his dog and all that) ;D -- D. Cello 15:15, July 24, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, people. I've completely revamped the Assassin's Creed Wiki:Istruttori pages, and I want *all* of you to get familiar with it. This group is becoming this wiki moderators, and are the first line to adminship when the time comes to expand. As such, I need all of you aware of your duties, and to fully perform then as possible.
I'm also giving this group self-dependancy and authority over itself, what means that me and Silver are going to interfere in it close to zero when you start walking with your own legs. So:

  • From now on, I'm not recruiting members to the Istruttorium. Users will come to one of you and ask to join the group. If you decide they're worthy, you'll make a nomination and the rest of the group will say yay or nay.
  • Any changes in the group will be discussed within yourselves, and I strongly recommend you do so. You must get to know each other and work like a group, something that's lacking and will greatly improve the wiki's quality.
  • Also, focus on improving articles one at a time and keep an eye on already improved ones. We have important articles in not so great quality, and great articles that suffer major revamps that send them to the bottom of worthless article pit in one swing.
  • Also, I plan on a staff meeting via the IRC channel someday soon, we need to arrange timetables since you guys are all around the globe.

As everyone knows, this wiki is an online thing. Each one has it's own life, worries, problems, joys and personal and professional duties. We're here by choice, for entertainament, and love to the game. We; me, you and everyone else; don't do anything here cause they have to, but 'cause they want to, and they choose to.
This community has grown a lot since I took it from ashes and started molding it from scratch, and you guys helped me do it. And even before creating a Staff to administrate the site, even after it was on the way, I could have taken things in my hands like some other wikis do and take decisions myself, but this is a wiki, a community, a group, a brotherhood. We all own it, and we all care for it. There are big changes on horizon, and I need everyone ready. Let's get to it. ;D -- D. Cello 05:17, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Where did that come from? I thought his name was Frederick the Red? Did he appear in AC II? --Silver Mage Ω 13:25, January 20, 2010 (UTC)

Main page revamp

Hi there~ could you please take a look at my sandbox and then if possible, give your comment here? thanks~ :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 12:19, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

Past or Present tense?

Hey, I was talking to D.Cello and the subject was to find the proper use of tense for this wikia. He said something about saying I had green light to do this and that there is no deadline. Cause there were questions around if articles of characters or plots that happened in the past, should be written in the past tense, however characters such as Desmond should be written in present tense. Personally I think we should stick to past tense, despite that these characters might be from the future, which D.Cello defined as the present. However we are telling the story of something that did already happen in the games, as in articles of Desmond and other related articles concerning the future. That is why it's my opinion to not make a difference in writing between past or present tense in these articles. So yeah the purpose is to write a proper policy on this and he advised me to talk to you about this as you, I believe, also helped with the source policy, correct? -- Altaïr March 11, 2010 (UTC)

Hello Master Sima Yi, I saw that you made an edit to the page Crossbow, you said that there was one on Ezio's back, but how do you know it's Ezio yet, we don't have that information. I do believe it's Ezio but I don't think we should jump to that conclusion, though do give me your opinion. :)

A vote

Master Sima Yi, do you think the Malik A-Sayf page should be promoted? --PassiveNeoluna 04:51, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Well since there are 5 Istruttori votes, and no outstanding objection yet, could I promote it or do I wait for a week? PassiveNeoluna 16:53, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

I have no idea. I'm not a mod. Ask D. Cello. -- Master Sima Yi 19:30, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Sima.
I'll add a new sysop to the ranks, and taken you've been coming back to activity later, I was considering you. Keep in mind that we expect constant watchover here, what means you won't be able to simply disappear for a month like normal users do. But you can wear a nice badge and kick vandals asses.
I need a new first officer, are you up for it? -- D. Cello 02:59, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

I'm surely up for it, yeah. I'm not gonna disappear for a month, unless there is a real good reason for it. And I check this site a few times every day. So yeah, I'll accept your offer. -- Master Sima Yi 14:21, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Great. Silver was kind of my right-arm man (girl, actually =P), but she's been innactive since march and a captain can't run his ship without a "XO". XD
Very well, then I name you a sysop, effective immediatelly. Welcome to the team, Sima ;D -- D. Cello 16:28, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, the links. Almost forgot:
Alright, I'll check it out. -- Master Sima Yi 12:40, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Just here to say my congratulations on the promotion. PassiveNeoluna 19:01, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you :D. And thanks for uploading those pictures of Desmond with his hood up (the ones on your user page). Do you mind if I put them on Desmond's article? -- Master Sima Yi 12:40, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Congratulations on the promotion to Admin! :D

Auditor(e) 21:03, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

Yo, Sima. In the very likelyhood I didn't mention it to you, we have two sexy badges at our disposal: {{sysop}} for top-page use and {{Usersysop}} for userboxes. ;D -- D. Cello 06:09, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
I already found out, but thanks :P. Though do you know how to get the character template (like the one on your userpage) on the center of the page? I want to do that for my userpage. -- Master Sima Yi 09:09, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
It isn't a character template, it's jsut the code Silver made for me =P

Copy the one from my userpage, remove my information (sure), and change the style=float:right to style=float:center. Like this:

{| class="infobox" style="float:center; width:264px; font-size:90%; text-align:left; -moz-border-radius:7px; background:transparent; padding:6px;" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3"

-- D. Cello 02:27, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I already tried it, but it doesn't work. But thank you :). -- Master Sima Yi 09:17, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
Change to "style=float:center" and "text-align:center", and it will work. -- D. Cello 17:03, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
I did that. -- Master Sima Yi 18:16, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
If you don't mind, I did it. Btw, nice to see you learned to block people =P I kinda forgot to fill you in in that aspect of sysop duty...sorry. XD -- D. Cello 03:57, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
I don't mind at all. =P And you know, this isn't the first site I'm an admin on. I'm also an admin on the Saints Row Wiki and the Red Faction Wiki (the last of which I am hardly online on). -- Master Sima Yi 12:33, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

The userbox still doesn't show up in the middle of the page. That's what I meant. -- Master Sima Yi 12:34, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

For me, the whole box is showing in the middle oO And I didn't knew about your other admin duties =P
Btw, we aren't use era icons for anythign other than games, times and factions, so no characters, weapons and etc. And why you removed most Templar names? -- D. Cello 19:52, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

I removed them because either they were born before the Third Crusade, so there is no possible way they can be Templars as they were formed during the Crusade, or they were just said to be 'tyrants' killed by Assassins. Among those 'tyrants' in Glyph #15 was Tomas de Torquemada, who was not a Templar, so the other 'tyrants' don't necessarily need to be Templars. -- Master Sima Yi 05:23, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Didn't 16 said that Cain was the first Templar? I think the Order was created in the Middle Ages, but that could be history told by Templars POV. The Truth file says that when Cain killed Abel, he founded the Templar order. -- D. Cello 06:50, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Mario Auditore says that the Templars were formed during the Third Crusade and I believe some other Assassins also mentioned it. I don't remember the Truth file saying that Cain formed the Templar order. Can you show it to me? EDIT: and even if the Templar Order was created by Cain, it isn't stated anywhere that those 'tyrants' are Templars. Tomas Torquemada was among them, and he isn't a Templar. The others don't need to be Templars either. -- Master Sima Yi 09:54, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
If nowhere says they're Templars, then it's cool. About Cain, I remember 16 saying something about how when he killed his brother for the PoE he created the Templar Order, and their cross symbol is even called the Mark of Cain. But that's it, I never payed much attention to 16's files. -- D. Cello 18:18, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Nope, just watched the glyphs with Cain in it and it just says that the mark of Cain was the same symbol as the Templars'. -- Master Sima Yi 19:21, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Okay then. Not a templar he is. -- D. Cello 19:24, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe we should make a new catagory for implied/pseudo Templars? I'd have to agree with Master that some of these pre-crusade people that we've been labeling "Templars" aren't really Templars, since other than being killed by Assassins and/or having possession of a Piece of Eden theres no proof of them belonging to the Templars IAMELIPHAS 17:02, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
  • Hey Sima. Keep an eye out at the wiki, mainly Ezio's page. We got 22 vandalisms there alone, by anons and registered alike. I'm locking the page for a month against anons, but keep your guard up and block ANYONE who messes it. -- D. Cello 04:16, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
Alright. -- Master Sima Yi 06:47, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

D I just noticed we passed the 500 page milestone YAY! :)

Unsourced additions to the Assassins article

Hi there. I've noticed that you added a few assassination victims to the Assassins article, as well as creating stub pages for these victims as well. I'm trusting you're aware that each of those new articles, as well as the additions to the Assassins article have to be sourced? If not, they'll have to be removed. As, AFAIK, I don't have the source you've been using I'm asking if you could do so for me, thank you. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 20:07, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed II, Glyph #15, "The death of all tyrants will set the people free" with the Assassins' symbol crossing all of those tyrants. I'd never add anything I'd just made up, how dare you acuse such a thing of me =P. -- Master Sima Yi 05:12, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
The other targets are soured, right a the top of that section. OK, I'd have to look at the glyph at some point to double check, but I'll put em back in for now. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 13:40, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
Look at this video: here. Specifically at 1:05. -- Master Sima Yi 13:44, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
OK, I see it now. Also, I thought you might want to take a look at this, it details sourcing and will help you out a lot. Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:05, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
I know how to source, I just have no idea how to make a source to a glyph. -- Master Sima Yi 14:08, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Question about some images

Good day/afternoon/evening kind sir. I would just like to know, were you the one who added the screenshots of Maria during AC:Bloodlines? Did you take the screenshots yourself? If yes, how did you do it? I have been searching Google for hours, yet no luck. I have asked another editor this same question, and directed me to you. Thanks in advance War Clown 16:03, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

Nope, that wasn't me. It was Itslamb. You can ask him. :) -- Master Sima Yi 17:38, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Alright, Thanks! :D War Clown 12:16, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
Hey. I asked Mr. Itslamb about the images and, he's not replying. I checked out more images from AC:Bloodlines and saw that you uploaded a few of them. Did you take these yourself? I really need to take some screenshots :D War Clown 09:19, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I made some of them myself, but I did so by using printscreen while watching a YouTube video... XD. They're not the best quality. -- Master Sima Yi 12:46, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
  • So close! XD.... I'd like to try your method but I find those videos unreliable (HUDs, subtitles and other stuff that would reduce the quality of the images). Well, thanks anyway War Clown 14:58, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

OR is original research. It's putting two and two together, or using the information provided to come to a conclusion that hasn't been confirmed in canon. In the case of Cesare's female companion, it's OR using history to give her an identity. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:32, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Help in the templates

Uhm...yeah, I hope you're still online, and I hope you can answer this as quickly as humanly possible. Ok, here goes, you know this Template:Event, right? And you know your way around it right? Well, I need some help in adding a bulleted list within the template, like the one in the Hunt for the Nine page. I don't know how to add a bullet list properly within the code, and when it seems I finally nailed it, it turns into a shoddy mess. I hope you can help (and receive this message in, like, 5 seconds). Thanks in advance :D War Clown 10:35, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

I'll see what I can do. And I hope that this is fast enough. :P -- Master Sima Yi 14:19, June 23, 2010 (UTC) Though I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'bulleted list'. Do you use 'source' to make your edits? -- Master Sima Yi 14:22, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
No, no, no, that's not what I meant. What I meant to ask you is: Can you tell me how to add a bulleted list (and sub-list) inside the Template I mentioned (and linked) above? I mean, you did add some of the infoboxes on some of the articles in the timeline, right? If yes, can you tell me how? Thanks in advance :D War Clown 10:18, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
When making an edit, I click the source button on the right of the blue bar. That way, you'll go into the old way of editing. That way, you can just copy the template code and add them to the articles. Then, by using *, you'll get one of those 'bullets'. Hope that helps. :) -- Master Sima Yi 12:29, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
  • Ok, let's see if it works. I'll just let you know if it did :D War Clown 12:44, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, guess what? It didn't work........Nah, I'm just kidding, it worked! Thanks a lot Master Sima Yi! War Clown 13:23, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

No problem. :) -- Master Sima Yi 14:01, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Why did you add those places from AC2's Rome in the infobox for this page? Giovanni never went there during his time in Rome, he just went to St. Peter's Basilica (at least, that's what this article says) War Clown 16:27, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, sorry. I mixed it up with ACII's ending. XD -- Master Sima Yi 16:52, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Istruttori

While I already have access to rollbacks (given to me by D.Cello), I'd love to join the Istruttori! To be honest, I felt that I needed to make a lot more edits (like 500+ or something :D) before I'd ask for a nomination. Anyway, I'd love to join in :D War Clown 03:40, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Wiki Timeline Request

Hello, Master Sima Yi

I have started writing a timeline for AC II Discovery and would like to join the Timeline project members, I have already followed the instructions by adding the userbox and inputting my name onto the list.

Is this okay with you? And by the way what do you think of my article so far?

The Thief 08:50, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

If you've put your name on the list of members for the Timeline project, you're a member. :) And from what I had seen of your article so far, i say it's pretty good. Only I would've written it in the past tense, but you don't have to. War Clown doesn't do it either, I believe. -- Master Sima Yi 08:56, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, I always find it more easier to write in present tense, and for some reason I find it more engaging because you can imagine it in your mind as you read it more easier than in past tense, but that's just me, A bit weird come to think of it.
Sorry if it bothers you :S. The Thief 09:05, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
EDIT: Oh by the way, when Ezio travels to Spain in AC2:D, do I create a new article in the timeline? Because Spain is the setting for most levels of the game, and the Venice levels are more of an intoduction/prolouge.
No, not for that one. The Venice levels and the Spain all fall under the same event: the Spanish Inquisition. -- Master Sima Yi 14:13, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Why didn't you let me write it?Now you claim the news as your own. They are many games that are announced but don't have a official name.It doesn't matter, but why delete it?

You aren't the only one who can view an article on IGN. So it wasn't yours start with, and I didn't 'steal' it anyway. I uploaded the blog post earlier than that you created the article, it just takes some time for it to show on the main page. Check the upload date if you don't believe me. And I'm fine with you creating it, as long as it doesn't have a weird name like that and if you actually wrote it yourself, not just copied content from IGN. If you'd create an article called "Assassin's Creed comic book series" and you'd write the content yourself, I'd be fine with it. Just make sure you don't just mention Russia, but Egypt as well. Remember the Egyptian Assassin picture? -- Master Sima Yi 19:25, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

A question, If I may

Why is D.Cello marked currently absent at the Projects Page? WarClownWanna Talk? 11:34, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Haha, I dunno. The date hasn't been revealed yet. When it is, either me or D. Cello will put it up on the news section in the main page. By the way, you're referring to the beta, right? -- Master Sima Yi 18:05, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, I just logged on and was wondering if you knew anything about the new badges that are on this wiki. The eagle 04:25, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

Check the news section, mate. -- D. Cello 04:34, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
Alright. Thanks. The eagle 05:05, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

I noticed you quite recently removed the Saracen multiplayer character page. I'm simply curious why, if you felt the name was innacurate you could've changed it. Disclamer: I like... didn't make that page nor was I in any way affiliated with it or the creator. I'm just curious, cause now my friend thinks me a liar about a turban wearing character being playable, when I have no solid evidence anymore. Thanks :D BruteWithASpear 23:21, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

I didn't just remove the... uhh, 'saracen', but all unconfirmed multiplayer characters. And are you pretty sure he's wearing a turban? It's kind of hard to see. -- Master Sima Yi 08:44, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

Reason for category edit to Daniel Cross page

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Desmond was born into the Order on the Farm, yes? That would imply that, unlike Daniel Cross (who so far seems to be an otherwise normal descendant of an Assassin) Desmond is indeed an Assassin in name as well as in heritage. -Ulyenov Project Determination 13:54, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

What do you mean that Desmond is 'an Assassin in name'? And concerning that thing on the Farm, he 'seems to be' an otherwise normal descendant, but he could've just escaped the Farm as well as Desmond. But whatever, just remove it and we'll see what is fact when the comic comes out. We're both just assuming things while no information is given about it yet. -- Master Sima Yi 13:58, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

Why those 3?

Hey, Master Sima Yi, why did you delete the pages for the female barber, and the female merchant? They look good to me and well explained until you deleted them. Why did you do it? I'm befuddled :/ 18:08, July 28, 2010 (UTC)Theseeker

Because it isn't confirmed that they are the female barber and female merchant. They could have entirely other proffessions. -- Master Sima Yi 18:19, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Moves

Hey Master-Sima-Yi

First of all, SORRY for the late response, I must have gotten two messages at once because I didn't see yours, also, I done that because if someone had of searched Soldier or Courtesan they probably would of found the wrong page. here's something i stumbled upon. on the youtube channel called assassin's creed ubisoft released a video saying that you can send them questions and they will answer some in future videos. Titles of Articles..

Hey Master-Sima,

You're a pretty cool person, and I don't mean to be an ass by writing this, but is it right to rename the titles and changing the latter of the words that aren't locations into lowercase? I might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure the only words that don't go into lowercase in a title is 'the-or-are, other short words'. Take movies for example, 28 Days Later, the Days and Later are capitalised. or Batman: Dark Knight, City Slickers: Legend of Curly's Gold, etc. I may be wrong since these are movies, but still i'm not so sure since it is also seen in books.

Again, I don't mean to be a jerk. Just asking a question if you have a reason for doing this? I might be wrong anyway. :D

XD, Thief 12:15, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I'll have to ask the same. Some titles and headings are better looking if they are capitalized. WarClownWanna Talk? 12:28, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I agree that some are better looking, though others aren't, like the 'nine' in 'Hunt for the Nine'. But my question is: why aren't short words supposed to be lower case and long words aren't? Anyways, why I moved the articles so that normal words are in lower case is because Wikipedia does that as well. I know that a wiki isn't the same thing as Wikipedia, but Wikipedia seems more proffesional to me, and much more logical, in my opinion.
By the way, @The Thief, maybe movies follow the 'short words = lower case' rule, but some other types of media, like music for example, don't. (Example: No One Knows - Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf, shows it like this on the CD) -- Master Sima Yi 13:00, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the followup, Master Sima Yi, that seems fair enough, I didn't know Wikipedia had been doing that. Although titles do look better if they are capitalised imo, but proffesionality is probably our main goal when writing articles, so its all good. XD Thief 22:23, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Really sorry for the late response dude! Last night (It was nighttime on my side of the world when we had this talk) editing went haywire and it was pretty late during the time, so I had to go to sleep. I only got a hold of the PC now, and I just want you to know that yes, I can see what the picture is perfectly fine (I was being sarcastic last night :D) What I wanted to say was you should show Altair the pic, so he knows what you're talking about.

You mean at the start of ACII, Lucy is shown without ther ring finger? The flashback? She just bended her finger as a hint that she is also an Assassn, to Desmond. She always had her finger. :) -- Master Sima Yi 18:45, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

New Multiplayer Footage

I found some new footage of the multiplayer from e3. nothing official, just someone with a camera. I've seen the one where the guy is the courtesan and it's pretty good. i'm too lazy to go through and find every piece of new info (like kills and whatnot) but if you know someone willing to do that you should give it to them cuz there's a fair amount of new stuff.

The Eagle1701 20:15, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the message, man. Do you mind sending the same message to D. Cello? I'm a bit busy to post it in the news section. -- Master Sima Yi 20:19, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

As you may know the german version of E3, Gamescom, is going on right now. I'v found some new info from it and some new screenshots which are really interesting.

Also if you go to the ac:b website there are some videos where Ubisoft answers questions from fans. The only new things are the A) fact that only some multiplayer characters are in the single player and that they will be assassination targets & B) some info about weapons. I'll be following gamescom for more info.

The Eagle1701 16:42, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the info, man. I'll put it up in the news section in a couple of minutes. -- Master Sima Yi 16:46, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

New single player footage. They go in order.

Lots of new info in this footage. The Eagle1701 17:11, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

There's also a one minute video on of Ezio walking to the pantheon while 2 assassins take out guards. It's nothing special but i thought i might as well tell u guys about it. By the way, did u notice that in the AC:B map there is Leonardo's symbol. And yet he works for the Borgia. Ubisoft did say that we would meet him again but not in the way we would think. I think that this just supports the spy theory. And has anyone found pictures or videos of the "mini-hang glider" cuz it sounds to me like there is one.
The Eagle1701 22:03, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
They never refered to Leonardo when they said "A lot of familiar faces will return in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, but not necessarily the way you'd expect." It's referring to all characters from ACII, such as Mario, who got killed. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Leonardo would become a Templar. -- Master Sima Yi 08:02, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
PSN magazine explicitely said Leo Da Vinci would be back. -- D. Cello 21:09, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
I never said that Leonardo wouldn't be back,i jjust said they weren't necessarily referring to him in that sentence. -- Master Sima Yi 05:58, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Hi, I noticed on the main page that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is under "Other Media" and listed as "Spin-off". I wanted to put Assassin's Creed Brotherhood next to the links Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II, since the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is not a spin-off. Many people think it is because it's not numbered but it has been confirmed that it is a main installment in the Assassin's Creed Series. [1]

Maybe it's best you discuss this with D. Cello. Otherwise he'll be angry at me if I make the wrong decision. XD -- Master Sima Yi 20:10, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

Sima Yi

Hi Master Sima Yi, since I'm a disciple of Sun Tzu's Art of War and a huge fan of asian "historic" movies, I wonder why you chose this nickname. Regards, --Weas-El (talk) 21:11, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I used to be very into Chinese and Japanese history, and an admirer of Sima Yi. But that's already a few years ago and I can't remember most of it. I do remember a lot of names from the Three Kingdoms period and which kingdoms or leaders they served, but not much more. -- Master Sima Yi 12:35, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
I'm wondering....Are you, by any chance, a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series? --WarClownWanna Talk? 12:51, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah. Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi, all of it. I'm not too fond of DW6, though. -- Master Sima Yi 12:52, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Likewise. I've lost interest after W. Orochi (The story and setting was way too complicated for me) but I still love the original (especially SW2). Can I ask why you dislike DW6? --WarClownWanna Talk? 12:59, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Sure. I didn't like the overhaul to the combat system. The Renbu system was much worse than the former system, in my opinion. And the overhauls to some of the character's looks just... sucked. Like Gan Ning, Guan Yu, Liu Bei. Their looks in Pre-DW6 were really cool, but they were too westernized in DW6. Though I have to say that some were cool, like Sima Yi and Sun Ce (Cao Pi's clothing was also cool, but his hair wasn't). And they removed Pang De! I really liked him. And yes, Samurai Warriors 2 was the best Warriors game, in my opinion. Hopefully they will port SW3 to the PS3/X360/PC. -- Master Sima Yi 13:05, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, I see. Liu Bei's look was something I really disliked too, and the repetitive attacks were getting kinda lame, but what I really disliked was Lu Bu's new weapon.....A freaking shuriken. Really? Is that what the most fearsome man in China should wield? It's like he stole it from Naruto =P And if they did import SW3, I'd buy it the day it's released! I really wonder why they made it for Wii only....--WarClownWanna Talk? 13:28, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, Lu Bu has to weild a spear, nothing else. Not that... thing. And I think the reason they made it for Wii only is because they don't really excel at graphics. So when they made it for the Wii, they didn't have to do as much work as they would have had for the other systems. And yeah, I would buy SW3 they day it's released too. I love Kanbei Kuroda. :P Hopefully we will someday have an AC set in the Three Kingdoms period or Feudal Japan. Nobunaga would make a great villain. And seeing as he was obsessed with the Western culture, he has the most chance of being a Templar. -- Master Sima Yi 13:34, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
That'd be freaking sweet! What I'd really love is the Honoji incident recreated in said AC, that'd be epic! The Akechi would make an awesome brotherhood! Also, out of the new characters they released so far for SW3, the most awesome one I've seen so far is that guy with the cane and eye-patch (I think he was from the Hojo Clan). Mitsunari's new look is also awesome (the white hair was really nice :D) Oh, by the way, Cello said something about notifying you of the recreated Warning templates. Check my talk page for more details :D --WarClownWanna Talk? 13:57, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I already said that a couple of times on this wiki. The Honnoji incident would be an epic final mission. Though it would also be cool if it would just be a mid-game mission and that the Siege of Osaka or something would be the final mission. And that guy is Hôjô Ujiyasu, leader of the Hôjô clan. Cao Cao would also make a good villain for a Three Kingdoms AC game. I can already see him standing on a castle wall, using the Apple, summoning an army of soldiers to fight you or something like that... -- Master Sima Yi 14:07, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
And then the Shu would be the Assassins of the Three Kingdoms :D The Imperial Seal (that Jade Dragon) seems like a possible PoE. That'd make a great explanation why Sun Jian, Yuan Shu, and some others went head over heels for that thing =P Maybe an epic final mission for the Feudal Japan AC is the Battle for Sekigahara (That fight was crazy XD) --WarClownWanna Talk? 14:18, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Well, I believe Shu weren't the good guys like how they are portrayed in DW. I think it's better to have the Assassins be a separate faction. Silently killing targets amidst the chaos of battle. And yeah, the Imperial Seal would be a perfect Piece of Eden! Well, the problem is with the Battle of Sekigahara and the Siege of Osaka: whow ould be the final target? It can't be Ishida Mitsunari, as he was captured and executed, nor can it be Toyotomi Hideyori, as he commited suicide. I think Oda Nobunaga is the only perfect Templar Grand Master. -- Master Sima Yi 16:35, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Extended Footage

This is a video that we already have but with a bit more footage and some guy from ubisoft talking as well. most of what he says we already know but its better than nothing.

The Eagle1701 18:56, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
