Hello MB543 (talk) 17:13, November 10, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Hello there. I know you are curious but I have to advise against looking for old blogs and posting one comment just for the sake of it. We do not promote that and clogging up the RA feed with more comments than necessary is something the admins dislike. Thank you.02:28, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
Ok, my apoligies. MB543 (talk) 07:31, November 12, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Hello Again. I see you are making a lot of edits to your userpage. May I suggest you use the preview button located next to the publish button so that you can see how it will look like so you can change it before publishing. That way you can do all the edits you want while needing to do very few edit publishes. If you are already doing so then pay this no heed.07:58, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
Oops, sorry again. I'm new to some of the controls here. Thanks for the tip, though. MB543 (talk) 07:59, November 12, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Hey there, Just a heads up, when you add a link to an article, make sure it isnt a redirect. For example, [[Connor]] needs to be linked as [[Ratonhnhaké:ton|Connor]], and same goes for any other article names. Happy editing! --Fragment -Animus- 19:27, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the helpful tip. MB543 talk 19:36, November 24, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Ages at Time of Death
Before I get to the point of this message, would you mind changing your lay-out for your talkpage? It's a bit... garish, and hard on the eyes :s
Anyways. I see you've been adding the ages of characters at the time of their death. While I appreciate the gesture, you've made a bit of a mistake there. If a character is born in 1476 and dies in 1503, you can't automatically say "hey, they must've been 27 years old then." IF we don't know the exact date of birth and exact date of death, we cannot determine that character's age at time of death. For example, say that character from 1476 was born on October 10th. If they die on September 15th in 1503, they are NOT 27, they are 26. the pages you've done this for, and see if a date of birth and date of death is listed. If there's only a year (no month, no date), you undo your edit, because we cannot confirm its legitimacy.
Please limit yourself to only the pages you've done; for example, Lucia Marquez's page lists her as "aged 26" at the time of death, because this information was in her database entry. Thanks in advance. Crook The Constantine District 18:58, November 28, 2013 (UTC)
I get what you mean, thanks for the tip. MB543 (talk) 19:04, November 28, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Err.....umm....Crook....I've been roaming some articles on here....and some of them say c.*insert year here* and then *insert DD/MM/YY here and age*. For example: Born: c. 1987 Died: 13 September 2086 (aged 99) The error is that people don't know the EXACT date of when they were born. It only says the full date on the death. Why are they doing this? MB543 (talk) 15:32, December 1, 2013 (UTC)MB543
In my opinion, people have gave me some tips on the talk page about sourcing images, formatting, and wiki contributing. And, I thought I could be under an apprentice-ship of a rafiq on this wiki right now. I see potential in becoming a better contributor here. Nevertheless, i'd like too help and work out on this wiki too. Hope this doesn't trouble you. MB543
That isn't adopting a wiki. Adopting a wiki is what you do when a wiki has been abandoned by its members, more specifically, its administrators. You then become an admin yourself, and adopt the wiki as your own. So I'm afraid you were unwittingly undermining my position and trying to become its 'head' yourself.
Hello again! Just a quick tip, you can use the preview button during edits to see whether your update will look alright. Making multiple minor edits also spams the RA feed, which can be annoying (no worries, practically everybody does that in the beginning), so making a few large edits that accomplish the same as many little edits is much better :)
Thanks for the tip. MB543 (talk) 15:25, December 1, 2013 (UTC)MB543
I like your username. I've always wanted to have numbers in my name but Deedpoll's a bitch. 22.214.171.124 15:18, December 1, 2013 (UTC)
Hi there. Thanks. Also, next time, make an account. it easier to communicate with people with an account instead of trying to recognize an anon's IP number. MB543 (talk) 15:27, December 1, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Hello again ^^
Thanks for creating the "Templar Ships" memory article. One of our administrators is already creating them though, so it might be better if you focus on other articles, cause it's a bit annoying for her :) Crook The Constantine District 15:45, December 1, 2013 (UTC)
Okay MB543 (talk) 15:49, December 1, 2013 (UTC)MB543
- Thanks. Glad you understand. (Also, love what you did with the place, all the red and brighness! :) Nesty Contact me! 15:50, December 1, 2013 (UTC)
No problem, and thanks! MB543 talk 16:17, December 1, 2013 (UTC)MB543
I'm afraid the same also counts for Assassination contracts :s Again, thanks for the enthusiasm, but right now, I think it'd be better to focus on expanding|improving the articles we have. Crook The Constantine District 21:58, December 2, 2013 (UTC)
On my way. MB543 (talk) 20:54, December 3, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Thanks, GI! I will find a way to return the favor someday! MB543 (talk) 17:03, December 4, 2013 (UTC)MB543

Epic. Thanks. MB543 (talk) 14:57, December 8, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Hi there. I'm truly sorry for this, but as the Apprenticeship Initiative is currently undergoing some reforms, I can't really give you a definitive answer yet. I hope you will bear with me for a few more days, and then I'll be able to get stuff straigthened out. Once again my apologies. Nesty Contact me! 21:26, December 9, 2013 (UTC)
Don't worry, take your time. MB543 (talk) 21:29, December 9, 2013 (UTC)MB543
Hi! I didn't want to clog up Stormbeast's page, but in regard to the jpg vs. png issue mentioned here, jpg can't support transparent backgrounds. If you want a picture with no background, it will have to be a png. -Molotov.cockroach (talk) 07:00, December 29, 2013 (UTC)
Hey there MB
When it comes to image uploading... this is how I understand it: the Wiki uses in-game screenshots that don't have the HUD on (as in, health bar, weaponry, etc.). Promotional images, which are generally fancier and showcase camera angles, animations, movements that aren't possible in the game itself, generally aren't used, unless there's really no alternative (such as the Animi Avatar pages).
Anyways, feel free to ask some senior members if it's not clear. I'll admit, I wasn't really aware of the rules around promotional images until recently either :s Thanks for reading. Crook The Constantine District 16:43, January 19, 2014 (UTC)
Okay, I understand MB543 (talk) 16:45, January 19, 2014 (UTC)MB543
- Apparently you don't. You just did again less than twenty seconds later. Please don't add concept art to galleries that use shots from gameplay. It's inconsistent and weird.
And on a completely different note, stop telling everybody what you're planning to do in polls on the IRC. Not everyone has to know about it, and I'm sure a lot of people don't care. --Crimson Knight Intercom 16:56, January 19, 2014 (UTC)
- I've already talked about the polls thingy on the IRC with Sima and other people. Plus they're not concept arts they're called 'Screenshots'. MB543 (talk) 16:58, January 19, 2014 (UTC)MB543
- Trying to talk down to a 14-year old is a really bad move. Even more so if it's me. It is not a screenshot or concept art (that was my mistake), it's a piece of promotional art, and we do not use them if we can avoid it. In this case, we can avoid it, so we don't need it. --Crimson Knight Intercom 17:02, January 19, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh MB543 (talk) 17:15, January 19, 2014 (UTC)MB543
