15,335 Pages

I didn't know you moved them. However, to counter, they don't specifically need different pages. Only a historical section (e.g. Assassins, Knights Templar) and a {{WP-REAL}} template. --Silver Mage Ω 07:09, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Well, if we do make one for BoF and BotV, we need to make one for each memory sequence in ACII, as per wiki style. If so, then we must also make one for each memory sequence in the first game. Since most of them don't have proper names, what is their naming convention, "Memory Sequence 1 (Assassin's Creed)"? --Silver Mage Ω 13:33, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
P.S. I'm not here to start an edit war, its just that separating them makes it harder for the viewers to navigate and is quite illogical in my opinion. --Silver Mage

I agree, they must at least have a lunk and a small plot description on the DLC article with a "Main article: Battle of Forli" link too. -- D. Cello 16:39, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Hey. I updated quote, Dialogue and Dialogue2 templates to include sourcing links now. I take you will help sourcing things, right? XD -- D. Cello 18:35, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I guess you're right and D. Cello was also kinda right. I mistakenly said "harder to navigate" when I should have said "inconvenient". For the record though, Basilica di San Marco and Santa Maria del Fiore were separated because they were different altogether, whereas DLC and event could blend well. But, now, it's all up to you as I will just be doing minor edits for a while due to busying matters. --Silver Mage Ω 09:00, February 23, 2010 (UTC)

Jasca, I don't now if its a problem with my browser, but I can't remove the category from the source project page. Can you remove the "Policies of assassins wiki" category, pls? -- D. Cello 02:08, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks ;D -- D. Cello 13:25, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Jasca, what do you think of the Malik page? Do you think it deserved to be promoted or not? PassiveNeoluna 04:13, April 1, 2010 (UTC)

Jasca, I've been meaning to talk to you for some time.
I was thinking in making this wiki not only about things that only appear and happen in game, but a torough database of AC related. Like in Hitler's page. He's been only mentioned once, but we have his biography, info and the things mentioned about him in the AC series.
Like in that Father of understanding article. Apparently there is only one of those in our culture, so that's the one the Templars venered. We could expand on that.
So far I've seen your flag is to keep purely and only AC, without expanding much further. But I believe it ould be nice to have all info ever mentioned about it here, instead of linking to wikipedia and etc.
Know what I mean?
What's your toughts about it? -- D. Cello 21:55, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Adam and Eve

I believe your grammatical change on the Adam and Eve page was wrong. "... offspring of a human and one "Those Who Came Before"" makes less sence than with the "of" you removed twice. It should be either "one of" of without the "one" at all. -- Coladict 06:06, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Err... you wrote sense with a "c"... really wanna talk gramatical? -- D. Cello 21:30, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, it makes moor cents two right sence with a "see", weather or knot ewe thank so. CarloGrimaldi 01:33, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

The Istruttorium

Hey, Jasca. D.Cello and I would like to invite you to become a member of the Istruttorium. We've watched your contributions and you're a great asset to this wiki. We could certainly use someone like you on board if you're interested to help this wiki by becoming part of the Istruttorium. -- Altaïr 04:33, 29th of May, 2010 (UTC)

I'm saying this here because I'm sick of editing that page....

In the game it says that the Templars were Christians and the Assassins were Muslims. Though, as you get through the game it becomes clear that members of each follow their own religion, often Agnostic (Like that of Mason's today)...... Altair was half Christian/half Muslim yet Altair claimed to be Agnostic, as was Al Mualim who claimed to have 'more Christian in him'......

In Assassin's Creed II, Lineage I think?? Giovanni mentions his Catholic upbringing and most of the statements Ezio gives his dying victims are Catholic passage prayers......

It's almost like you don't even know what Athiest means....... To have no religion??...... As you can clearly see, Assassins had a religion and all religions were welcomed as this was their goal.....

The Templars wanted one religion (Christianity) were noone would wage religious wars and Assassins fought for free will and the right to pray to any God they wished.... This, if nothing else is mentioned throughout the game at any given opportunity.... Or did ignorance rule that out too??...... EchoAltair 02:07, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Fair enough on undoing my "various" edit -- I was mainly hoping that having something there would stop the person who keeps changing it to "Christian" :-). Morgan-wolf 03:33, April 12, 2011 (UTC)

Assassins victims

About those victims not being sourced: look at Glyph #15 (if I remember correctly, could be 16, but most likely 15). It'll say that the 'deaths of the tyrants will set the people free' and you'll have to scroll over each tyrant with the Assassins' symbol - meaning that these tyrants were assassinated by the Assassins to protect the people. And the other targets aren't sourced either. Those should? And what reference would I need to put there? -- Master Sima Yi 13:37, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

"Apparantly we are not allowed to change this picturer" - where is that written? And who made that rule? -- Master Sima Yi 19:03, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Then tell me, where is it said that the organization is atheistic? -- Master Sima Yi 12:36, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Cinematic Trailer

Listen Jasca, your problem is that you don't know what a cinematic trailer is. The purpose is to impress the people. They show you what a game developer is trying to accomplish. In other words they show you not what is going to happen, but what might happen. And so far I have seen many trailers that confirm contradictions with the cinematic trailer and games themselves, not just the Assassin's Creed trailers but from many other. The name itself 'cinematic' speaks for itself. It's meant to set the mood of the game, to show the setting, not exact information of what is going to be in it. In fact it would be stupid to do that. If you make a cinematic trailer that is exact how it is in the game, then the player will not be surprised by the game at all. "Oh I've seen that." Who wants to replay what they've already seen. They would know how to play it out. Some cinematic trailers are used to show you what already happened, like I said it's a mood setter eyecandy. But we already know that what you saw in the gameplay trailer of this game, this trailer won't be used as an introduction, it won't be in the game at all. You're mistaking movie trailers from these trailers, both have a different purpose and if you understood marketing you would know this. If you want to look for trailers that can be relied on look for gameplay trailers, cause that shows you exactly what takes place in the game itself, cause while the game might work out differently, the setting remains the same and the animation you see will not change (depending on the game. RPG's tend to have alternate animations, cause they are flexible in the response of your actions in the game itself.) Altaïr 21:43, 1 August, 2010 (UTC)

Hi Jasca, I see what you say about the Pic, the thing is if you "click" on the pic will be bigger and you will see it "big". And that pic the idea is to show some "art work" or dramatism on Ezio's "position", you know "The Cross", is a very cool Desktop image, and probabbly someone will like it.

Well that's me give in you my opinion...I respect yours...xoxo's Allyauditore

City articles moves

I saw you moved the articles for the Italian cities to their Italian names. Why? And I assume that you're going to do the same thing for the Middle Eastern cities. How are you going to do that? Move them to the Arabic names? -- Master Sima Yi 12:12, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • I moved the city articles because all the landmark articles are known by there Italian names in article, so having the cities in English looked odd. And no, I won't be moving the Holy Land cities, as they were never called by the native names in-game. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 13:52, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
The Italian cities were called by both their Italian and English names in AC II. By their Italian names by the characters, and by their English names by the Animus (like when fast travelling). The Italian landmarks, however, where called by their Italian names only. Though it looks more odd, in my opinion, when some cities are written by their original names and some by their Anglicized names. I'll ask D. Cello what he thinks of this. -- Master Sima Yi 14:36, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
Actually, one more than one occasion (if not most) the cities are named in Italian by the characters. I've just played through the game again and can confirm that. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:41, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
The cities are called by their Italian names by the characters on every occasion, yes. I never said they aren't. -- Master Sima Yi 14:43, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, misread what you said. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:44, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
Most users would only understand the cities by their English names, this is an English-speaking wiki afterall. I understand how it is weird with landmarks being in Italian and cities not, but that's just how it is. If the Animus states them in English when giving information wouldn't it be easier if we did too? You're wrong about what you said before (moved to Italian name, as per most of our articles on ACII locations) The articles I've seen state the cities in English, so that's going to be alot of annoying redirects unless you go through all the articles and change the names :P. The Thief 22:22, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
How exactly is a redirect annoying? The whole point of a redirect is to allow multiple names to link to one article, making it not annoying. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 00:01, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
When a page becomes renamed a few times, instead of being redirected directly, it'd take you to another page making you have to click on an arrow taking you to yet another page.. plus on dial-up it results in lag. I'm still right about the majority of articles stating the cities in English tho. No hard feelings about all this by the way, you're a great editor. XD The Thief 05:35, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
You're talking about a double redirect. It's not that hard to fix one, you know. As for inside the article, I see no problem having the names "Florence" and "Venice" throughout personally, although if somebody were to change every single mention I wouldn't consider it a bad thing. Also, having just checked the in-game database like, half a second ago, I can say definitively that the cities are named Firenze and Venezia in their database entries, and not by their english translations. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 09:58, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, then I am wrong. With the redirect and the Animus thing. No hard feelings and thanks for not getting pissed off, I take back everything I said. Sorry about that littled disagreement there, Happy editing!

Being a former Istruttore

I always wondered why you left your position in the Istruttorium. Now here I am.....Why? And since I'm already here, can you please clarify: Are you male or female? --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:29, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • I'm a bloke. To be fair, I was offered the position, though I never really accepted it. I didn't particularly want the added responsibility, as I have enough on my plate already. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 10:31, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
  • Well, what you're doing now is basically what we are doing, so technically, being an Istruttore would only mean giving you an official status. --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:36, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • Meh, suppose so. To be honest, what I'm doing now is only half a job, which is frustrating, as there are still multiple redirects I can't do as it requires an admin to move the pages. PLus I gotta wait for somebody to delete all these stupid articles they got stuck up here before Brotherhood, or II came out for that matter. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 10:39, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • Don't worry about the deleting part, Me and Sima got you covered :D And how many are does redirects that need fixing (Admin only)? --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:42, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • All the ones that are left; they are mostly related to Brotherhood articles. It's annoying, as wikia coding sees the type of apostrophe some of the articles use as different to the type we use in this text box. So all that needs doing is changing the apostrophe so that it matches. If you take a look here, you'll see what articles remain to be done. EDIT: Basically, just move "Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood" to " Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" (cut and paste the latter), and it's pretty much done. The same has to be done for Chronicles though. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 10:45, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • Alright, I'll handle it. Hope it won't get messed up. EDIT: So what I do is just edit and save? Or do I have to copy paste the real title of the link to the broken one? --WarClownWanna Talk? 11:00, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
        • Literally, all that needs doing is this: Follow this link, and click the "move" tab at the top of the page, copy and paste "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" into the box, and move it. It will move the article over the redirect and to the right location. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 11:03, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
        • There, I did as you asked. So I'm guessing the same goes for the Chronicles, yes? --WarClownWanna Talk? 11:07, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
          • Pretty much, it's a little more complicated though. You need to move this page and this one to "Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles". I'll be able to tidy up any straggling articles for you after that. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 11:12, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
          • I finished moving the first link, but the second one's having problems. When I try to make the move, it says: "Source and destination titles are the same; can't move a page over itself. Please check that you didn't enter the destination title into the "reason" field instead of the "new title" field."...Wonder what that means? --WarClownWanna Talk? 11:17, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
It'd be good if you could rejoin the Istruttore. Like War said, you're furfilling almost all our duties, if you just hold the rank and be noticed for your contributions more you'd get the credit you deserve. :D The Thief 11:19, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

******@WarClown: I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to move that page, though there are no more dbl/redirects so I wouldn't bother with trying to move it anymore, it's in the right place as far as I can see. @The Theif: If you think so, I'll join. Either way, I'm gonna carry on doing what I'm doing (much to the chargin of some users I'm sure :P) --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 11:25, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

            • Disregard the negative feedback, Jasca. You've been doing a great job =) I'll go tell D if he can make the decision final --WarClownWanna Talk? 11:29, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Jasca. I manage to scrape off some time to log in and check out my talk page, but not enough to do anything major. Templar Themed Staff Panel

Hey Ducato,

I am working on a new Templar themed staff panel (at the request of War_Clown) and would like you to choose what character you'd want out of the ones already on that page (besides mine :P).

The reason we are doing a Templar theme is because the limit of Istruttore is 9, and you'd have to kill the 9 Istruttore to get to the master(s), :P. The Thief 03:10, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

New Istruttori Promotion Concept

Salute me amici. I've been creating concepts on my sandbox for a new way to nominate potential Istruttori members. The concept is based on how we vote for Good and Featured Articles, and so far I think the idea is coming along pretty well. I want you, fellow Istruttore, to check this out and review what I've made. Please vote for the two beta subjects. Be it positive or negative, it matters not. Subsequently, give your opinion on the section below the two subjects. Thanks a plenty :D --WarClownWanna Talk? 13:36, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

Alright Istruttori here's the cheese. Due to time lapses, we aren't able to meet theoretically at the IRC. As a solution, we'll be using the Istruttorium forums instead. Grand Master

As much as I'd love to agree with you, I can't right now. This isn't the Dev Diary which states him to be "a leader", this one calls him "the leader". If you can't hear that, turn your volume up. I'm not putting it back there because of something I'm not even sure of. -- Master Sima Yi 18:06, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

  • I know it's not the Dev diary, it's the single player demo they releaseed at E3 (I believe it was E3, at least). I can hear it perfectly fine, and I can assure you, it does not call Ezio the leader of the Assassin Order, it calls him "…a leader…" --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 18:09, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
He says "tha leader", but that's because of his accent. And anyways, how come Ezio has full control over the other Assassins and not be their leader? -- Master Sima Yi 18:12, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Sima, seriously, this is just getting on my nerves now. Will you please just listen to me, I've have listened to this video six times in the last ten minutes, and every single time it has said exactly the same thing. It calls Ezio a leader, nothing else. I have even had someone listen to the video and confirm that I am correct. There is no confusion, I can understand his accent perfectly and he still says "a". Please, just stop changing it back. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 18:16, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Whatever. I'm getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again. We'll know who's right once the game is out. -- Master Sima Yi 18:18, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

I believe you are wrong

You are wrong my friend. I have not deleted any information from the Cesare Borgia article, in fact I have added information like the War in Rome or Personality section, I have not deleted any information, I have only added and made the page better. If I did delete any information from a page it is only because the information was incorrect. Understand? Also all the information I gave about Cesare's personality was fact, Master Sima Yi created a new page about Giovanni Borgia and there was a link at the bottom of the page, it was a Dev blog about Cesare, it said that Cesare was selfish, cruel and was jealous of his brother. So all the information I stated about his personality was fact. AssassinRome.

Sorry if I did delete any sources, I will try to not it again, but why did you delete the section about Cesare's personality, because everything I wrote was fact.

  • Doesn't matter, without a source, the information is useless. Start signing your posts! --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 11:56, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • Sorry, but I keep forgeting to sign my posts. I disagree, the information I said about Cesare's personality is not useless and might help someone understand what kind of person he is. Still lets forget about this and try to get along. AssassinRome.

Don't worry Rayne, I have read the chat. My apologies for the tone I took though, I've had to re-revert a number of edits where MC's additions have been removed, and I apreciate that you only did it twice. In my defence however, I do feel I gave you adequate warning, and I kept my word with regards to taking action (or lack thereof). As for AssassinRome, I would appreciate it if you try to keep your nose out of my business from now on. You had no business interfering with mine and Sima's discussions over the Grand Master article, and, to be honest, you have no reason to interfere here… if Rayne feels I have treated him unfairly in this matter, I would hope he would come to me himself so we can discuss it like civilised human beings. I'm not superior, I just don't see the point of needlessly softening my tone, if I have an issue with something or someone, what's the point it trying to diguise that. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 03:47, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

No, the arguement had stopped by the time you butted in. Also, Thief asked for a link to the video because he felt we needed a second opinion on the matter. You offered your opinion, fair enough, but then decided to go one step further and tell me how you were undeniably right and that you were not going to change your mind on the matter, no matter what… you were being childish, basically. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:43, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
I never said I was undeniably right, I also never said that I actually thought Ezio was the leader of the Assassin Order, all I said was that I agreed with Master Sima Yi when he said that on the video it said "the" and not "a", if you can prove me wrong, then I will admit that I was wrong and you were right, and I will not change my mind unless you can give me prove that he said "a". So because it sounded like "the" not "a" to me that means I'm were being a bit childish, basically. AssassinRome October 24, 2010.
Alright guys...i know this has nothing to do with me but no offense you are both being childish, that arguement "ended" like a week ago so why are we continueing it now? You guys are both mature but you just feel comportable feeling right...I know this is nosey of me to butt in here but i just thought it was important to tell you guys...were here for eachother. Rome: Jasca already told you he doesn't want you near his business, so as any respectable member, just respect his decision and walk away.
And adding one more thing to the "discussion: Next one I THINK it's being mildly offensive is winning a week block. I trust Jasca and as a member of the staff, and I'm confident of his ability to be mature and solve his own problems, but one of you isn't cutting and I AM going to block someone if this goes on. -- D. "The Shroud" page

After I had added Niccolo as Templar owner, you moved him to "neutral owners" and said "We don't know if he is a Templar". But in "Playing Dead" sequence he knew who was his murderer and called him "assassin". And he also knew about Shroud - what was that and how did it work. Not everyone knows about it. So I thought he's a Templar. 20:28, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Jasca. I have a question. Please check out what I did on this page, and tell me if I sourced it right. I feel like I exagerrated it a bit, so I'm asking for your opinion on how I did. So....? --WarClownWanna Talk? 04:46, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • The does seem o be a little bit of exaggeration, but that's not a bad thing. There's two point though I think can help you out in future. Firstly, if an article contains information solely from one source (in this case Assassin's Creed), then I find it easier to simply place a "Source" section at the bottom and simply put the sources name under that. Also, I noticed that you would source several pieces of information to the same source, within the same paragraph. If all the information within the paragraph is from the same source, it's better to simply place one references right a the end of said paragraph; prevents unnecessarily cluttering up the editing page. Otherwise, you did good.

I'll let you make any changes you see fit to make to the sourcing. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 15:03, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

O: Damn. Should have asked before I sourced. It would've been easier if I just did what you said about the single source =/ Anyways, thanks for the help. I'll fix those I already sourced. 15:17, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

House of Auditore

Dear Jasca Ducato,

With all due respect, you are mistaken about the House of Auditore's religion. As an avid Assassin's Creed fan I would like to inform you that the Auditore's are Christians, more specifically Roman Catholic. If you would fix this error I will agree to stop editing the "House of Auditore" wikia page.

Frozenchroma 21:29, December 13, 2010 (UTC)Sincerely, Frozenchroma

No, you are mistaken. You are just making that up. It isn't said anywhere in-game that they are Roman Catholic, while Ezio admits to being an Atheist in Assassin's Creed II: Discovery. Unless you give a source directly stating that the other members of the Auditore family are Roman Catholic, don't add any assumption. -- Master Sima Yi 21:32, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
Even if I were mistaken, it's not the House of Auditore article you've been editing, it's the Faction infobox article. Messing around with that affects every single article that uses that particular template. Also, as Sima said, I'm not wrong. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 11:45, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Jasca, I know it's beneath the Santa Maria Aracoeli, but that name is entirely made up and therefore not canon. "The Colosseum Vault" is the one and only name given in-game. We cannot simply make our own canon, even though we know it should be named differently. -- Master Sima Yi 15:11, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Auditore Religion

Jasca Ducato, I'm sorry for editing the faction infobox, I'm a new user. But abut Ezio's statement of atheism. I have played AC II: Discovery and I do not think that anywhere it states that Ezio is an atheist. I would like it if you either gave me proof or edit the Auditore's religion to Roman Catholic.

You don't remember Ezio saying this?: "Rodrigo is a non-believer like me." -- Master Sima Yi 16:14, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
There is also the multitude of comments and remarks made throughout ACII that indicate he is, in fact, atheist (or at the very least agnostic). Also, it is not our responsibilty to provide you with evidence. We've given the source of the information, if you dispute it it's up to you to check the source and prove otherwise. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 18:55, December 15, 2010 (UTC) 02:15, December 16, 2010 (UTC)Whatever, you're wrong. I know that both the Auditore's and Altair are Christians.

No, I'm not. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:18, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

Dear Jasca Ducato,

I'm sorry if I sounded threatening or rude but this is an issue on this site that I feel strongly about ( Please disregard my last message, I was very frustrated ). As for my evidence that the Auditore's are Christian, I would just like to say that during one of the Cristina missions in AC: Brotherhood, Ezio says, "I must give my family proper burial rites for them to pass to the next world,". I feel that this is sufficient evidence that the Auditores were religious, if not Christian, because with this and Roman Catholiscism being the most prominent religion in Italia at the time.

Sincerely, 02:35, December 16, 2010 (UTC)Frozenchroma

Since when has a "next world" ever been a part of Christian belief? Having a burial is what I would consider a basic human right, and I'm sure most people would agree. Also, just because they live in a Roman Catholic country does not automatically make them Roman Catholic. They're atheist, deal with it. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:20, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

The Fall

Hey, Jasca. You mentioned that you have the issues of The Fall in your blog. I believe you're one of the few people on here who have them. Would you mind writing detailed biographies for the characters appearing in them? You're a skilled writer, you seem right for the job. If I'd have them, I'd do it, but I have no idea how to get them... There's no rush in it, you can do it whenever you like. I just feel like we really need to have them and at this rate it might take a long while before we have them. -- Master Sima Yi 17:10, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I have #1, and I've seen a snippet of #2, which luckily included this phone call situation. I will however update the articles as I get the information. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 19:18, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, I see. Well, any information is appreciated. :) Did you see that snippet of #2 somewhere on the internet? If so, could you send me a link? -- Master Sima Yi 19:20, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

The Next World

Dear Jasca Ducato,

I never said that belief in an afterlife (Paradise, Heaven, the next world, etc.) is something that only Christians believe in. I was simply stating that atheists do not believe in an afterlife, therefore he cant't be an atheist. With this I would just like to tell you that Ezio must at least be religious. Also, I was merely stating that it would be logical to assume that, as a religious person, Ezio would be Roman Catholic due to it being the 'most prominent religion at the time. Jasca Ducato, please look at the facts.'

Sincerely, 21:54, December 16, 2010 (UTC)Frozenchroma

No, you need to look at the facts. The game very clearly indicates Ezio and his family are non-believers,, they are not Catholic, not even Protestant. Also, an afterlife and heaven are two totally different concepts. I personally believe in an afterlife, though I deny the existence of an omnipotent being, so your argument is invalid. It doesn't matter what is or isn't logical, Ubisoft have made Ezio an atheist, so that's how it goes.
Also, stop creating new subject each time you post a message on my talk page. EDIT: I'm getting tired or arguing this point now, the article isn't changing, so give up.--Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 22:10, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

Jasca Ducato, I'm tired of arguing this point. I'm giving one last chance; See the truth and change.

Ha, please. Sign your damn posts. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 01:19, December 17, 2010 (UTC)
"I'm giving you one last chance"? Seriously? I see that as threatful and offensive. Refrain from such behaviour or you will be blocked. -- Master Sima Yi 06:23, December 17, 2010 (UTC)

A Diplomatic Solution

Dear Jasca Ducato,

I'm sorry for these posts and the trouble I've given you, you really are a brilliant editor. How about we just call a truce and start with a clean slate, the Lord forbid this happens again. If I want to believe Ezio and Altair are Christian I can, and you can believe they're atheists because no one can prove either of us wrong. I'm fine with the religions staying atheist although I think otherwise. Thanks for reading this and I hope that we can look past these differences.

Yours truly, 02:07, December 17, 2010 (UTC)Frozenchroma

Good thing you both are trying to solve this diplomatticaly. But the game clearly states that none of them belong to any religion. Actually, the game not even depicts them as atheists, they just simply plain dont believe in anything. They don't care, nor should we. -- D. Cello 23:59, December 17, 2010 (UTC)
I'm well aware that removing the revamp doesn't make the writing better, but is that template really necessary for that pacific section of the article? If the information is that bad then I will remove it if the information is that poorly writen or someone else will see and edit it. AssassinRome 00:55, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

Can I ask you if you follow the comic at all? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, it's just that my explanation makes alot more sense if you have the second issue with you. Pagan or Risque?

Hey there Jasca. How's life? Anyways, I'm here to discuss something about AC Brotherhood (first time I asked about the games). You remember Juan Borgia's party right? The semi-nude, wolf-pelted guys and girls partying and flirting all night, right? I have a question. What would be a proper name for a party like that? I've read somewhere in Juan's bio (or maybe the ACBH summary) that it was some kind of Pagan party, but I've read somewhere else (I'm not too sure where exactly) that it was a risque (or something like that) party. What is it, really? Thanks in advance. --Jacques le BlancReception Area 14:49, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

So, risque was just like "risky" in essence? Awesome. Now I can start the Pagan party page. Thanks Jasca :D --Jacques le BlancReception Area 09:05, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

New Pages Suggestion

You've probably already considered this, but anyway; would it be a good idea to merge all those pages you just made into one named Apprentice Contract Locations, or something like that? Just a thought. 'R BlaiddDdraig 02:23, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

Nope, I prefer an article for each, more organized that way. -- D. Cello 02:31, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
Plus, many of those articles are mentioned in sources besides Brotherhood and so will likely be eexpanded in the near future. Take Moscow for example, that is mentioned in The Fall, so merging it into a "Contract Locations" article would be silly. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 10:44, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

You know Constantinople is just modern day Istanbul, right? Campbell430 20:26, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

You know that the world of the Assassin's Creed series is not our world, right? In a world where 93% of Africa's population has been wiped out by 2012, it is entirely feasible that Istanbul is no longer populated. So unless the city is mentioned in it's modern-day context, we mention it as we knew it at it latest. In this case, during the Renaissance. And yes, as a student of history in my third year at university, I am fully aware that Constantinople and Istanbul are one and the same, so please don't try to patronise me anymore. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 23:01, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Hey Jasca, my apologies for removing the template. I misunderstood it's intent. I thought all you sought was for the information about the Yahoo mail and hotmail to be removed. My mistake. Again, my sincere apologies! Sick-steeN 03:02, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

I saw the note you left in the comment... just thought I'd elaborate. When using switch, you can specify many 'options' to have the same 'outcome'. IE {{#switch: {{{this|}}}|that|this too|and this=all result in this}}. And, if you didn't already know... Listing just a plain word without an = at the end will be used as the default or even specified with #default =

{{#switch: {{{this|}}}
|and this = This text
|nothing was here
{{#switch: {{{this|}}}
|and this = This text
|#default = nothing was here

Will both result in This text if {{{this}}} is that or and this and nothing was here if {{{this}}} is not defined. Another trick is to check if it is defined or just blank. This is how you'd do that...

{{#switch: {{{this|unset}}}
|and this = This text
|unset = I was never called! The nerve!
|#default = I was set but was either blank or none of the options above.

Hope this helps in the future. Also, noting above... two <pre> together result in a 2px margin between them. You can make that 1px if you choose by adding pre + pre { border-top: none !important } to wikia.css. (Looks more professional in my opinion) Rappy 18:55, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

Image changes

Hey Jasca, sorry for the inconvenience. But the reason I was doing this was to create some kind of consistency between all memory pages, because as you are probably aware, the in-game preview shots I have been replacing promptly stop for some reason, and images without that 'animus fade', take over, breaking any consistency that was happening. Just a trial of mine to see how it looked, I was only doing sequence 1 for now, sorry I should have asked your opinion first. Do you have any other ideas I could do instead? Sick-steeN 12:57, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

With respect, I like the fact you're taking the initiative, but the way you choose to present it wasn't the best. Personally, I feel the the memory nfobox images should be the same as the ones used to represent said memories in-game; however, I don't think image consistency is something we really need to worry about. Images are always going to be changing, but simply sticking some great big silver twirl over the top, so it actually removes almost half the image from view, just isn't the way forward. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 13:01, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
Understood, I will be more considerate in future, thanks Jasca. Sick-steeN 13:07, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

Realworld Era Icon

I noticed that you removed the realworld era icon from the Trojan War page, and on the edit summary, said that you don't think that people quite understand what the icon is for. Seeing as I'm the person who put that icon on there, could you perhaps explain to me what exactly it is for then? Thanks. -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 10:20, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Although the Trojan War did take place in the realworld (or did it?), it's still a part of the AC mythos. Articles about the games, Ubisoft and Ubisoft personel etc. are not a part of the mythos, and so would be considered realworld articles.
Also, we have WP-REAL for articles like this one, which do have a realworld counterpart. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:45, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for clarifying, with help from you and War, I believe I've fixed all of the era icon mistakes I made on the Timeline pages. To finish, I just need to know which game mentions the Assassination of JFK and WWII, and I'll add the icons. I'm quite sure it was ACII, but after all the mistakes I made, I want to be absolutely sure this time. -- ’R BlaiddDdraig 11:07, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Have a laugh? Seriously?!

As much as I respect your work here, don't get over your head, Jasca. Just because you say that "we're not having that here", doesn't mean we won't. It isn't your decision. I didn't put it up there to "have a laugh". Do you honestly want to keep it like this, making it say "The Mentor was the Mentor until 2000"? It doesn't make any sense. -- Master Sima Yi 22:21, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't say "The Mentor was the Mentor until 2000", it says "The Mentor" (? - 2000), which is perfectly fine. PLus, as we don't know his birth-name, "the Mentor", which is his title, is the closest thing we have to an official way of recognising him. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 22:24, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
I didn't say the article literally says "The Mentor was the Mentor until 2000", but it does come down to it. And what's with that "Oz" thing? Is it a reference to someone else? -- Master Sima Yi 22:28, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
It's a reference to the Wizard of Oz. In the original story, the Wizard of Oz was seen as a god-like entity and ruler of the kingdom; eventually however, he is revealed to be nothing more than a facade put on by the true ruler. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 22:31, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
