Duelisttri, it's come to my attention your "new" edit system for badges. This whole adding small bits at a time to count up your edit accounts is unfair and caracterizes as an abuse. Keep in mind I can and will remove your badges if you keep on with this. Keep it fair, kid. -- D. Cello 16:59, July 23, 2010 (UTC)

Back from your "vacation"? I hope you remember the reason why you were banned in the first place, because if you don't, well things can get rather complicated in the future. Watch yourself now....--WarClownWanna Talk? 16:48, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

Duel, you've been warned too many times.. stop editing the timeline individually and edit as a group.. The admins are going to chew your ass off.. again.. didn't you just get banned? :( The Thief 11:12, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

Consider this a warning

Read the Policy regarding the badges and achievements. Edit it as a group, not one by one. Value knowledge over these badges, otherwise your points will be revoked. We already had the same problem yesterday, so I don't want this happening again. Do not ignore this message like you did to Cello's. I'm not as considerate as he is, Capiche? WarClownWanna Talk? 11:34, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Duel, stop removing catergories and adding them, vice versa, in order to gain medals, you're lucky i'm in a good mood.. and tired.. Thief 11:57, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

That's an accident, sorry - Duelisttri 12:31, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

What part of refrain from adding and/or removing categories don't you understand? Is it the Refrain from? That means to stop, or halt. Is it the adding and/or removing articles? That refers to what you're doing (at least the adding part), Is it categories? That's what you're adding to them articles. Is it the whole damn sentence? IT MEANS STOP ADDING CATEGORIES TO ARTICLES! WarClownWanna Talk? 10:35, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I switched to source mode and add 1 category, and the activity feed showed I add 2 categories. I remember the "came out of nowhere" one is already been add to the article. - Duelisttri 10:53, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Check your contributions, then tell me what you have to say. WarClownWanna Talk? 10:58, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Those articles is booked in their suitable categories, so what's wrong? - Duelisttri 11:08, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

What's wrong is that there is a warning at the top of the wiki saying that users should refrain from adding and/or removing articles. Its not add a category, remove it, and then add it again, if that's what you're thinking. Its about adding AND/OR removing categories entirely, meaning we should refrain from adding and/or removing articles. I don't know if that warning's out of date, but until someone says that we can add and/or remove categories again, stop adding categories to articles. Capiche? WarClownWanna Talk? 11:15, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Bene. - Duelisttri 11:20, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Molto Bene. I should be getting back to work. I suggest you do the same. Arrivederci....WarClownWanna Talk? 11:25, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I just got word from D.Cello that only Istruttores (meaning we, the staff) can only add (or remove, whatever the situation calls for) categories to articles. Yesterday, I saw you add some categories to more articles.....yet again, and I would just like to tell you of this note. Is that understood?

Another note, where in the blue hell are you getting all of these images? (Borgia's Model, Doctor's Model, Pics from Cyprus, Masyaf, Jerusalem, anything else you added) WarClownWanna Talk? 13:51, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

  • War Clown, I just want to say that I would want to give some suggestion how to treat members like Duel here. I can see he makes mistakes. But he wants to help. And it's your and my duty to motivate him in the right direction with good criticism (meaning criticism that wouldn't demotivate him), instead of threats as I read earlier. Just point to what he's doing wrong and that should work fine. Like I said it's a suggestion. You can take it or leave it, but I strongly suggest that you take it. Thanks. -- Altaïr 15:56, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah I know, he keeps changing them from the neat and much better default database picture. >.< Thief 13:54, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Whoever said I was threatening anyone? I only informed him of what D said and was just asking where he got the images, what's so threatening about th-.....Oh, Blue Hell, Okay, I gotcha. I'll refrain from it then. WarClownWanna Talk? 14:05, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think he even reads this, He still adds categories and is replacing the good, neat, properly sized databased pictures with that other stuff that should be in the gallery.. Plus he's ignored 5-6 warnings we've given him, he responds to them and says he'll stop doing what he's doing yet he still does! >.< Thief 14:08, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Mi dispiace, Signori. I've added everything I had to add and then I refresh the Activity feed. I don't know why you guys don't like them. I mean, you guys use Ezio's artwork instead of his database pic. And for WarClown's curiosity, my source is creativeuncut.com. - Duelisttri 14:23, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Duel, reading from Warclown and Thief, I must consider that you are ignoring what they are saying. If D.Cello says stop, then we stop, even us admins or moderators (Istruttori) such as Warclown must abide by that rule. Those in-game pictures you added are good, but they cannot serve as profile pictures and we can only put them in the article if it fits inside, meaning if the article is large enough. I can see that you're ambitious, but if you keep doing this, I'll have no choice but to put a temporary ban on you, so you won't ignore what people are trying to tell you. Do we understand each other? -- Altaïr 16:22, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

What Altaïr said :D Do you want to end up in the Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, allowed list? WarClownWanna Talk? 14:26, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Va bene, ho capito. But I haven't receive any note from Cello, only from you guys. - Duelisttri 14:32, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Well D.Cello is often too busy to talk to every member on board of this wiki. That is one of the reasons he recruits other admins and moderators, so that he doesn't have to deal with all the contributors himself. -- Altaïr 16:40, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

But I still don't understand this: If this wiki has rules that only the staff can add or remove categories, then why allow the contributors to do so. I mean, can't you guys just type some codes so they can't interact with the categories? And if you guys talk to Sima Yi, please tell him to visit the Timeline at the end of my talk page, molte grazie. - Duelisttri 14:54, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know if what you said is possible (about the code thing) Try asking D if there is such a thing as what you just said. --WarClownWanna Talk? 15:18, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

To make such codes is not that simple. And in the end are these codes really required? If contributors as yourself just hold yourself to these rules, then such codes are not necessary. We're just trying to help you, Duel. That's one of our tasks. We try to keep the Wiki in good shape and that means giving advice to other contributors. And it's best to take that advice from more experienced contributors. It wouldn't harm I think. -- Altaïr 17:22, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

well there is a way that will prevent users to edit the category. That is page protection. But by doing so, the page will be completely un-editable by users other than admins, which is not good, if you ask me. ^^ Besides, this page protection needs to be applied to each page one by one and that is a really tedious and unnecessary, of course. - SilverSummoner 15:41, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
Plus, D. Cello did warn you. At the top of the page.. How could you not see that? :S Thief 01:05, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Invitation to Project Determination

Hi! I'm currently asking around to see if anyone is interested in helping out on the Assassin's Creed Wiki's newest WikiProject, Project Determination! The Project is mostly collecting and noting the numbers that run the AC games, such as the number of health squares that it takes to wear out a piece of armor. If you like this kind of thing, or would like to contribute, come by and check it out! -Ulyenov Project Determination 21:36, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

It happened in the trailer...

Why did you get rid of what i added for Christina? It happened in be her in the trailer, and everything happened according to what i said. Why? I'm befuddled :/ The Seeker 00:55, July 31, 2010 (UTC) Theseeker

Timeline

They are all not confirmed. Cleopatra, Stalin, Booth etc. are said to have been assassinated by Assassins, but they are never stated to have been Templars. Also, Booth could've been assassinated by someone else in AC canon and Corbett just took credit for it. Ruby is also never stated to have been a Templar. If you really have a direct reference that they are Templars and Assassins, show me. If you don't, they will be stay removed from the Timeline page. -- Master Sima Yi 11:51, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I never stated that Cleopatra and Ruby were Templars. I stated that Ruby was an Assassin who assassinated the Templar Oswald for murdering JFK and took his PE. The Glyphs article stated that "Oswald was trained in the use of the first 2 'Pieces of Eden' with which he was able to make a 'Phantom' in order to create a distraction". Stalin, Roosevelt and Hitler are all Templars and the WWII was a 'purge' for Europe, 16 said "They engineer the war, they engineer the peace" that's quite a proof. Washington was a Templar: "Pigpen cipher on the photo of Roosevelt reads 'The Masons brought it across the sea. George Washington passed it on'. George Washington was a member of the Masons, along with a number of the founding fathers, who supposedly were the Knights Templar reborn". About Thomas Corbett, check here. Finally, Jesus was crucified by
Glyph 7-3--article image
Templars in order to retrieve the Shroud, the Glyphs also stated this clear. - Duelisttri 14:31, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
Ruby isn't stated in the game to be an Assassin, so therefore it is not known if he really was. It's an assumption, not a fact. He might as well have been a Templar who killed Oswald to prevent him from talking inside, but that is as much as an assumption as he would be an Assassin. Stalin isn't stated to have been a Templar, he was only shown in the 'Assassins victims' glyph, where he appears alongside several others including Tomas Torquemada, who wasn't a Templar, and Cleopatra, who can't have been a Templar as Templars didn't exist until the Third Crusade. They aren't stated to have been Templars, so therefore they aren't. And maybe you are right on Roosevelt and Washington, I don't have anything against that. About Corbett, it is again not stated that he was an Assassin. As I said above, he may just have taken credit for the assassination while it was actually executed by Assassins. Jesus can't have been crucified by the Templars, as they didn't exist before the Third Crusade. Please, don't mix fact with fiction so that we can create a database completely based on facts given in the games, not assumptions. -- Master Sima Yi 15:17, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
I didn't stated Torquemada and Cleopatra were Templars. But about the Crucifixion of Jesus, in the Truth File #7 - "Keep on seeking, and you will find", when scan the painting of the Crucifixion of Jesus, we can see the Mark of Cain and the writing "They took it." - Duelisttri 10:02, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
I didn't say you said Torquemada and Cleopatra were Templars, I just used them as examples to compare. And I'll have to check that Truth file, if that is so. -- Master Sima Yi 14:32, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
EDIT: You're wrong, man. It doesn't show the Mark of Cain. See this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O187F7coddI -- Master Sima Yi 14:34, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
Just scan Jesus's head and you will see the Mark. Like Assassins, Templars had existed before the Crusades and the first one is Cain, but untill the 3rd Crusade they formed as an order. I have a question: Is Cain the Father of Understanding that Templars usually mention? - Duelisttri 09:47, August 5, 2010 (UTC)
Look, it is never stated in the game that Cain was the first Templar, just that his mark was the same as the Templars used. I know it sounds logical that Cain would have been the first Templar, but as it isn't directly stated in the game, we can't tell for sure. You're just assuming things. And are you able to show me a picture showing the mark on Jesus' head? -- Master Sima Yi 14:30, August 13, 2010 (UTC)
Here. I think Altaïr and Thief agree with me abou this. - Duelisttri 15:06, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Quote revert on S16

Hi there. I'm writing to you here to explain my reasoning for reverting your changes on the Subject 16 article, and to ask why you felt the need to revert my edit. Now, I don't quite know why people are doing it, but for some reason anons and some named users keep changing the quote templates, and actually break them. This is what you did, and for this reason I reverted your edit. However, I am curious as to why you thought I had changed to wording of the quote (which I hadn't), and reverted it back to the broken format.

I'm not trying to throw blame about or anything like that, I'm just curious and with hope that you might avoid making this mistake in futrue. Thank you. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 20:16, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

And I need to backup Jasca's message. Why the hell you people break the damn template if it's working in the first place? -- D. Cello 01:19, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
  • Hmph, I added that quote in the first place and nothing was broken about it, When you (Duel) first changed it the wording didn't make any difference, all you did was break it. Why is that? Hm? Thief 05:50, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

I just correct the quote. - Duelisttri 11:08, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

By any chance, are you using IE as your browser? sometimes different browser translates this kinda things differently . I'm using Google Chrome, and when the template is broken down like that, it won't display correctly..
@Cello and Thief: please guys, be civil. (=.=)" - SilverSummoner 14:08, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

I'm using Firefox, and the correct quote is: "Why do we have these gifts..." but the old one is: "Why is it that we have these gifts..." - Duelisttri 15:04, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Silver, you know I like you. But mind your place, little grasshopper. -- D. Cello 16:09, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
@Duel: I see.... then perhaps you should've explained the reason on the edit summary more clearly XD. Also, please bear in mind that some MediaWiki code might display differently on different browser so.. yeah.. XD - SilverSummoner 16:18, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Do I need to remind you EVERY TIME!?

I have told you two times already...STOP CATEGORIZING ARTICLES! Look pal, once D says you cant do something, you can't. That's the way it is. I've told you in the past to stop doing this, and yet you fail to comply. I'm not the only one who's been telling you this, D himself and Altaïr told you to stop, and yet you refuse to cooperate. Do I need to do something out of line in order for you to get the message? --WarClownWanna Talk? 10:35, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Tsar/Czar

Yeah, my stupid fault, I got confused myself whilst trying to correct all the 'Tsars' on the wiki to 'Czar' Mercenari 16:48, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

Reverting articles

Hi Duelisttri, can you please explain to me, why you restored this version of the article Assassin’s Creed: Renaissance? You restored several typos and broken (or redirected) links. Please indicate a reason when reverting edits. --Weas-El talk ) 11:06, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Don't add 's to links. Thank you. - Duelisttri 11:18, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps you should have said this when you did the revert hmm? And instead of undoing a contribution that messed up a minor, certain part, why not fix it yourself, hmm? --WarClownWanna Talk? 13:00, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I want to say something: Please, can you correct my articles and do not remove them. The Content is true but my problem is the grammar, so please don´t remove them!
Schinni999 13:16, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Va bene. - Duelisttri 12:23, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

Decision

Duel, we have a issue. It seems your actions inside the wiki are considered troublesome and counter-constructive for some users. They have gone as far as to make a petition to block your acess here. Now, if I'm gonna do it, I'm doing cause of popular demand, not because I have any feelings toward you whatsoever. What I advise you is: read the charges against you, and stop doing them/act better. I'll give you one more chance cause I'm awesome, but all other users want your head banned. So, what's gonna be? Improvement or demotion? -- D. Cello 15:10, August 25, 2010 (UTC)

OK, I've read all the arguments at Cello's talk page, and here's what I have to say:

  • I revert an article because I simply think the older version is better, I don't give reason because I'm too busy. Every day, after I go home, I watch the activity feed from where I left yesterday and click on every edits of articles until the moment I got home, see if an edit is better than the previous or needs improvement. I especially concentrate on edits of new users, because they usually add assumptions or wrong infos.
  • Yesterday, I was so busy that I can only leave a message on my own talk page: "Va bene. - Duelisttri 12:23, August 25, 2010 (UTC)". That is my only contribution/action/move (or whatever you want to call it) of the day, and I live in Vietnam, which means I'm usually offline while you're online, so don't think that I'm ignoring all your voices.
  • For the future, my actions will speak for themselves, but it seems I'm Altaïr at the beginning of Assassin's Creed.

That's all, but if there's something you haven't been answered, stick it here. - Duelisttri 10:41, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

But the only reason we say you don't listen/respond is because not long after we have posted a warning message on the page regarding breaking the rules, you'd still break them lateron... Reply or no reply, you still do it. Take the categories and group edits as an example... The Thief 11:56, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

I'm don't check the activity feed after every edits. - Duelisttri 12:14, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

Responding to the statements you made on the bulleted list, you have to realize that you're not the only one here. Your opinion isn't the only thing that matters. You think a previous version is better, based on your opinion, not on facts. A person adds a whole damn paragraph of information, and you revert it simply because it had a simple typo. Don't deny it, I know what I'm saying. If you can't change your ways, then that ban will be imposed. You think you're Altair? Not even close....--WarClownWanna Talk? 12:20, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

You're misunderstanding. - Duelisttri 12:23, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

If he misunderstands, then explain it. Don't make short comments like this to defend your actions. --Altaïr 14:25, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yes. Elaborate. --WarClownWanna Talk? 12:30, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
After reading your... arguments, I must say I've changed my position towards you. You affirm to be busy enough so you can't write 2 words explaining a reversal, but you still can do unedits in a row. Your responses lack content, and this place is not a free ground. You answer to someone, just like everybody else. If I would compare you with someone, it wouldn't be Altaïr, but with Masun. You act through wrong ways for wrong motives, thinking that's the best for all, when all you take into account is your own needs and nothing else.
There is nothing I can do for you, child. Compio questo sacrificio per il bene superiore. Requiescat in Pace... away from here. -- D. Cello 14:21, August 26, 2010 (UTC)
