After a lot of leaks and rumors, Ubisoft have confirmed the existence of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, the next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise and the sequel to last year's Assassin's Creed III.
The game will give us control of Edward Kenway, the father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Ratonhnhaké:ton. Fans who read Assassin's Creed: Forsaken will already know the end to Edward's life, but now we will learn his full story. The game will be set around the year 1715, and will take the player to various locations on and around the islands in the Caribbean Sea, such as Kingston. The game will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U and is written by Darby McDevitt. More details will follow next Monday.
Additionally, a new game for the PlayStation Vita has been reported by VGLeaks, following last year's commercially and critically succesful Assassin's Creed III: Liberation.
