Town criers were public announcers that existed during the Colonial era. Assassins could bribe these criers in order to reduce their notoriety.
Trivia
- Unlike heralds from previous Assassin's Creed installments, town criers could not be pickpocketed after being bribed. Also, they did not attract large crowds as heralds did in former installments, and some held up newspapers.
