Toa was chief of a village on the Samoan island of Savai'i.
Around 824, a stranger came to ask Toa and his sister Nafanua for help, showing them symbols their culture recognized as harbingers of great evil. However, as war raged between east and west of the island, Toa had to remain behind while Nafanua travelled to Fustat.[1]
After Nafanua died, Roshan retrieved her weapon "Tafesilafa'i" in the hopes she could returned it to Toa and tell him where they had buried his sister.[2]
