The Lady was a witch-warrior and the head of the Women of the Mist at Avalon.
History[]
Circa 878, Avalon intercepted a message from the Hidden Ones meant for Nimue, and the Lady decided to have Niamh of Argyll impersonate her, making it clear that no one should be operating any kind of group such as this without the knowledge or approval of the Women of the Mist.[1]
The Lady was known to test prospective witch-warriors with tests before allowing them to join their ranks. A fact Niamh recalled when undergoing her own tests while infiltrating the Hidden Ones.[2]
At Glastonbury Tor, the Lady met with Niamh and issued her with a new mission ontop of the one she already had. To find and retrieve their sacred sword, Excalibur. The Lady also questioned Niamh regarding the two Hidden Ones she had come to be allied with, Marcella and Hytham.[3]
