- "This titanic gladiator hails from the Cambrian hills of Britannia! He's a raging beast and formidable foe! He's the Ordovician!"
- ―Alba describing The Hammer, 47 BCE.[src]
The Hammer, also known as Raging Hammer, was an Ordovician gladiator from the Cambrian hills of Britannia who fought in the Cyrene Gladiator Arena during the 1st century BCE.[1]
Biography[]
A member of the Ordovician tribe from the island of Britannia, The Hammer had his tongue cut out by unknown means. After becoming a gladiator, he eventually came to become a regular fighter at the Gladiator Arena in Cyrene. In 47 BCE, he was challenged by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, who witnessed him crushing an opponent who had yielded. The Hammer was then defeated by Bayek with a sword.[1]
