The Child Lives was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2018 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[]
A midwife sought the help of a mercenary to ensure proper sacrifice and offering were made.
Dialogue[]
Kassandra: I got your message on the board. What's going on?
Woman: The woman I just attended to... Artemis pierced her with her arrow to prevent her further suffering.
Kassandra: Arrow? What arrow?
Woman: It means she died in childbirth, misthios. But the child lives, thank Artemis. I cannot enter the temple until a sacrifice of goats has been made and a fruit offering brought to the priestess.
CHOICES:
1. You need it delivered.
Kassandra: You want me to bring it to her.
Woman: Yes, simple enough. It needs to arrive in one piece.
2. You want the beasts slain.
[dialogue]
CHOICES:
1. I'll handle it.
Kassandra: I'll take care of it.
Woman: I'm in your debt.
Kassandra: May the Fates be on your side.
2. Not interested
[dialogue]
When Kassandra finds the priestess and give her the offering:
Kassandra: A midwife wanted you to have this.
Woman: Perfect timing, misthios. Let me repay you.
Outcome[]
Kassandra helped the midwife, and was rewarded for this.
