Description[]

Despite the Sect's best efforts to stop us, we have tracked Medunamun to a tomb lost in the middle of the desert. The tomb appears to have been only recently opened by the Sect. It extends deep beneath the sand, and has probably lain undisturbed for centuries.

The sect is looking for something here, but the tomb must be nearly as much a mystery to them as it is to us. We will delve into the depths of the tomb, find Medunamun, and eliminate him once and for all.

Dialogue[]

The Hidden Ones made their way through the tomb and soon reached a Cult priest, who engaged them in combat but was mortally wounded.

  • Decoy 1: You are blind to the truth. You are not worthy to live in the new world that the Ibis Reborn will shape! *wheeze* Once he enters the vault... where the Gods have hidden their power... he will be... unstoppable.

The decoy collapsed dead on the tomb floor.

  • Hidden One: Another puppet. Medunamun's cowardice is boundless, sacrificing so many to save his own hide.

The Hidden Ones continued exploring the tomb and soon reached another priest, who also engaged them in combat but was fatally wounded.

  • Decoy 2: You are too late, Hidden Ones. The Ibis Reborn is already on his way to the Vault of the Gods! I gladly give my life to protect him... for his will... is the will... of the gods.

The decoy collapsed dead on the tomb floor.

  • Hidden One: Another decoy. But Medunamun cannot hide forever. We will find him.

The Hidden Ones continued exploring the tomb and soon reached the last priest, who likewise engaged them in combat but was fatally wounded.

  • Decoy 3: You thought me the Ibis? Ha! Idiots! Medunamun is the envoy of the Gods. He is like sand. He will always slip through your fingers! And he has... *cough* found what he needed here. He knows... where to find their Vault...

The decoy collapsed dead on the tomb floor.

  • Hidden One: The neket iadet! (Piece of shit!) He was another decoy. Where is the real Medunamun?

The Hidden Ones reunited in the tomb's entrance chamber.

  • Hidden One 1: Medunamun is not here. It seems only his decoys stayed behind. Another scheme to delay us!
  • Hidden One 2: And if we are to believe what they said, he's already on his way towards a Vault containing something dangerous...
  • Hidden One 3: Nek! (Shit!) Let's regroup and find out where he went. We must give chase before he has a chance to succeed in his plans!

Outcome[]

The Hidden Ones explored the tomb hoping to find The Ibis Reborn among the priests, but only met decoys. However, piecing together their last words, the Hidden Ones learned that The Ibis Reborn had accessed the Khesesh Em Sesh Em Eeneb Vault under the Great Pyramid of Giza.
