ACMirage - Tha'abeen

A Tha'abeen member

The Tha'abeen (English: snakes)[1][2] were elite members of the Order of the Ancients who operated in the Abbasid Caliphate during the 9th century. Each of them were identified by their black robes and were protected by at least one guard of the Turkic Army, and carried a shard of Isu origin that was connected to the vault beneath the Northern Oasis.[3]

During the 860s, ten of the Tha'abeen members located in and around the city of Baghdad were hunted down by the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq, who sought the Isu shards in their possession. Using these shards, Basim was later able to deactivate the energy barriers in the Northern Oasis vault and claim the pieces of Isu equipment locked away behind them.[3]
