:::I think that renaming this page to Aiden Pearce should definitely have no influence on Ubisoft's decision on whether or not they would canonize the crossover, if that's what you mean Vilka since it sounded like they were quite set on it. If you just mean instead that you're afraid that they might canonize this character from ''Assassin's Creed'' as having the same name, hmm to be honest I don't think that'd really be an issue. Feel free to elaborate why that might though.

:::I'm mostly concerned about whether you guys would be concerned renaming this page to "Aiden Pearce" would mislead visitors of this site into thinking it's the canon name, and if there is a risk of that, whether that would be a significant issue or just a trivial matter.

:::As for Lacrosse, I guess my only defence is that that when I did Google it before, it was years before like in 2014 or 2015, but I suppose I have no excuse for not double-checking. xD Either that or I thought that "fixer" in ''Watch Dogs'' was more specific of a group of people than even just someone who "fixes" in the illicit sense. I don't know. Either way, I'm just wondering if you guys still think that it'd be better to describe "Aiden" here as a fixer or a hitman then? I'm thinking that from the still alone, we can't exactly deduce that he's a "fixer" but we can a hitman right? Or does it really not matter so much, and we can use them interchangeably? ::::TBH, I'd think it's fine to just leave it as its named. And I'd say that fixer and hitman can probably be used interchangeably, so its fine to leave it. As with the canonicity of the easter eggs in Watch Dogs 1 and 2 suggesting that the universe is shared is always possible, however WD1 mislabeled Garneau as the CEO of Abstero Entertainment and not CCO...so that's probably just the WD-universe's Garneau. Fixer

I think that "fixer" is a term unique to Watch Dogs as I have had a lot of trouble finding it being used outside of the game. The only one other example I can think of is, quite randomly, a Hong Kong drama. Because of this, I would recommend renaming this page to something else, removing all usages of "fixer" in the article. Aside from this, I would actually suggest just naming this page to "Aiden Pearce". While his identity as Aiden Pearce is not confirmed, since the title is conjectural anyways—meaning we invent an unofficial name for it to serve as a placeholder—there's no wrong in going with that name.

The only counter-argument I can think of is being concerned that it would give the impression to someone who has no read the article that it is confirmed, but I think this is not a major issue and would prefer "Aiden Pearce" to a descriptive title using "unidentified" which I think is clumsier. I did just leave it as 'unidentified' just to be safe. Although renaming the page to 'Aiden Pearce' might make Ubisoft canonize him?V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 01:12, January 17, 2020 (UTC)
