Name[]
In the main game, he's just tagged as the Poisoner. In the Torment of Hades, he's called the Poisoner of Athens. Which one should we go with?
Imo, given that there is no other Poisoner (thus named), adding in 'of Athens' is unnecessary, as of summer 2019. Sadelyrate (siniath) 17:10, June 4, 2019 (UTC)
- I think I would prefer just the Poisoner since whether or not 'of Athens' is an official part of the name is ambiguous. Historically, there's some grey area in where a topographic descriptor becomes a toponymic surname like 'da Firenze' or 'da Vinci'. For example, I'm not sure if 'of Siwa' and 'of Sparta' could be considered official parts of Bayek and Kassandra's names or are they just descriptors for clarification. But anyway I guess that's beside the point since 'the Poisoner' itself even a real name but an alias. Is he called "the Poisoner of Athens" in a menu or just in dialogue? - Can't remember/find my notes concerning the menu/quest description, but 'the Poisoner' is at least visible when checking him out with Ikaros. Sadelyrate (siniath) 17:35, June 4, 2019 (UTC)
- In the newly added DLC, they have a tab kinda like the mercenaries tab which list the characters. The Poisoner is listed as The Poisoner of Athens. XOdeyssusx (talk) 01:27, June 5, 2019 (UTC)
