If you recall the Assassin's Creed E3 trailer, it shows Altair assassinating some unknown man in Acre. This never happens in the actual game. In the Assassin's Creed II trailer, it shows Ezio chasing after some unknown man through Venice, and then shoots him with his hidden gun. Again, this does not happen in the actual game. Notice a pattern here? There is a possibility that what happens in the trailer for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will not happen in the actual game. • Iin the trailer you are referring to, Altair assassinates William of Monferret, it is only the location and circumstances that are different. Until the games comes out, this is the only information we have. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 23:07, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
No, the trailer that I'm referring to is the trailer that is also the opening movie for the first game, it shows a guy at a public hanging in Acre. That doesn't happen in the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SJejqDtH4Y&feature=related Alpheta 23:14, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
Altair also uses crossbow. The point of the trailers isnt to show tid bits of the actual game. The point is to show new features and how you play the game. For example in that trailer is shows Altair free-running. It shows him working his way through a crowd, the hidden blade, blending with the scholars and the eagle. For the AC2 it shows of Renaissance Venice, the Hidden gun, Ezio, and some other things. For the ACB trailer it shows off the Papal Guard, Cesare and Rodrigo, and lets not forget the Assassin Recruits Chris-the-killer 04:41, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
That's exactly my point. The trailer is non-canon. It never happens in the game. Alpheta 04:51, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
Actually they could be. The AC I trailer could happen before Altair was demoted back to novice. The AC II trailer could have happened at some point during one of the missing segments of memory. And the ACB trailer could have occured at any point in between each memory segment, Cesare could have just gotten away like he does at other points in the game. Where can Papal Guards be found?

Throughout my run through the game I do not recall encountering a single Papal guard. Yesterday, while free-roaming, I encountered a group of them for the first time - which is a little weird, considering that I've been playing the game for about 2 months now - at Il Vaticano, near the Castel Sant'Angello. Where else can they be found? I read on this entry in this Wiki that they are sent after Ezio during certain memories, but do not remember encountering them during my run through the story. During which memories can they be fought?

Maybe you haven't been paying much attention? (No offense). I'm damn sure there are Papal Guards at the end of the French Kiss mission, and also at the grand fight of the Assassins and Cesare Borgia. There's also some during the first time you obtain the Apple. That's the only one's I'm sure about. Hope that helped. --Jacques le BlancReception Area 13:53, January 8, 2011 (UTC)
