Ashraf talks about Aya in this IGN video , I think it would be a good idea to add this extra info to the article Semagodo (talk) 16:59, August 22, 2017 (UTC)

Medjay

Has it been confirmed that she's a Medjay? It seems everywhere I read, it speaks of her as having the skills and training of Medjay, but it stops short of saying whether or not she was an official member. If I remember correctly, one source seemed to imply she got the skills from Bayek sharing his own training with her rather than her being a formal Medjay member. However, if she is an agent of Cleopatra, she probably is part of some unit, right? Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 15:01, September 22, 2017 (UTC)

  • From what I read, she was trained in the ways of the Medjay, but wasn't one herself. If I had to guess, I would say it's because she had a vagina instead of a penis...Maxattac (talk) 15:41, September 22, 2017 (UTC)

Grammar/syntax issue with a specific clause

"where Sabu pushed forward the basic training of his son during several years"

I don't think this clause really makes much sense the way it is written. One might say they pushed forward the training by several years, meaning that Sabu accelerated the usual training and tried to cover more ground in a shorter period of time than is standard—without stating the exact length of time. At the very least, "throughout several years" might be better, but I still find it awkward though it's a bit hard to explain in exact grammatical terms. Forgot to add the most important point which is that I'm struggling to rewrite this because I'm not even sure of the intended meaning or what it's trying to say. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 11:55, October 12, 2017 (UTC)

During his early youth, around 5yo if I remember correctly, Bayek was given basic training by the Nubian Khensa. The son of Siwa's protector, he was trained by the Nubians who were allies of the Medjay, learning to track, hunt, build a shelter,... After he discovered his Medjay legacy when he was around 15yo, it took him several months to find Sabu, his father began to formally teach him Medjay skills and Creed. Aya wasn't trained by Sabu, who disliked her as she represented modernity as opposed to the old Egyptian ways, but he tolerated the fact that Bayek shared with her, because they're were deeply in love and he needed them to breed to make more Medjays. Aya can't be Amunet!

Aya and the legendary Egyptian Assassin, Amunet, can't one and the same. In ACII, Ezio Auditore found Amunet's tomb in Italy durng the late 1400's, and Layla Hassan, the modern-day protagonist in ACO, found Aya's mummy hidden in Bayek's tomb, after it fell down a pit at some point in the past. Unless Amunet's corpse was somehow moved to Bayek's tomb sometime between the 16th and 21st centuries, Aya and Amunet simply can't be one and the same. WELL. 2 POSSIBLE OPTIONS. HER BODY WAS MOVED TO THAT LOCATION IN AC ORIGINS OR IT IS A BIG PLOT HOLE. BUT ONE THING IS CERTAIN. IT IS ACTUALLY AMUNET. WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE HIDDEN ONE DLC FOR MORE INFORMATION.KILLERBEE479 (talk) 06:26, October 29, 2017 (UTC)

I think the crypt in ACII is a shrine not actually a tomb. If that’s a retcon then it’s not too bad as far as retcons go. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 06:32, October 29, 2017 (UTC)
