New Game

Heres a question regarding the sails and a few other things. The sails and such you get from the elite ships you sink during events, if I start a new game do I keep them or do I lose them?

Also can I ask for a link to some page or some instructions on how to acquire some of these recruitable people? Some of them I know how to acquire, and many of the others no clue and just learning about them after they were listed.

Ok thats already known, its stated on the page and some of the characters pages on where you get them from. However, pages like Hektor, Pandaros, Roxana, and this Zetes the Retired for example don't list how to get them. I went through the quest that involves Roxana, and no option came up to recruit her. Someone said something about quests and dialogue, but nothing specific that helps me figure it out. 18:28, March 6, 2019 (UTC)

Yes, that's because alot of the articles aren't complete yet and are thus lacking the details. It really depends on the dialogue choices made that allows you to get them. Roxana would require you teaming with her to kill the person in charge of the whole tournament. In the case of Zetes the Retired, I believe it's also the same or that you have knock him out unconscious in order to recruit him. XOdeyssusx (talk) 00:59, March 7, 2019 (UTC)

Biter & Captain Octopus

What's the source for the Animus mod/Helix Store lieutenants Biter and Captain Octopus? I couldn't find a reference to them in the Store, nor on the net. Did I just botch a perception roll, or what's up? Sadelyrate (siniath) 13:58, March 21, 2019 (UTC)

Notable conflicts

Although we do have a precedent for the section from other ship articles, I feel like the "Notable conflicts" section is getting a bit excessive. Although there are a number of notable named vessels destroyed by the Adrestia during the course of the story, the weekly Epic vessels being added to the list are makign it difficult to identify which ships are pertinent to the story.

I would like us to do one of two things: a) remove the weekly Epic vessels from the list (and potentially create a replacement category) or b) remove the list entirely. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:24, April 10, 2019 (UTC)

My vote goes for the removal of the Epic vessels. 'Cause like the semiweekly mercenaries, they don't have anything to do with the story, and in this I consider them akin to, say, Ezio's pigeon or Faction missions. Sadelyrate (siniath) 08:49, April 10, 2019 (UTC)

Frontierchris, it's not your work – the moment you click "Publish" it becomes to property of the community and so the community is free to manipulate, change, amend, or indeed delete as it sees fit. Since you specifically mention including "non-canonical" content in the article, however, I will again point out that our Sourcing policy expressly prohibits the inclusion on non-canon material in our articles. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 12:53, April 10, 2019 (UTC)

Actually I meant non-story, sorry about that.  Anyway I fixed the article by seperating the story vessels from the non-story vessels to avoid confusion.  Will this suffice? Frontierchris (talk) 18:07, April 10, 2019 (UTC)

This list is sort of like the weekly mercenaries thing already. Thank god we do not have list of mercenaries encountered by Kassandra created, or otherwise, its going to end up like this, too extensive and alot of irrelevant information being added. At least the weekly ships have their own sort of unique ship sail, which differentiates it from the weekly mercenaries. I'm okay with either completely removing those, or just create a replacement category for it. XOdeyssusx (talk) 02:30, April 11, 2019 (UTC)

FrontierChris, all you've now done is introduce explicit OOU content into the article which is just as bad as including non-canon information. Passengers

Any objections to adding a Passengers section to the article? It was something that occurred to me when I ended up having Kleio, Gotarzes, Herodotos, and Aspasia all sitting on the stern's bench at the same time. Herodotos is counted as "Crew" (although he's only useful in reminding me that there's much to do, and many unknowns on the horizon), and some of them can be recruited as lieutenants later, but it seemed noteworthy. The section would be restricted to fixed NPCs only (no one from weekly challenges or random generation, if that's a thing I'm unaware of in regards to the Adrestia as a taxi), an asterisk for those who can become lieutenants, and perhaps a link/shortcut/reference to the quests that turn the Adrestia into an Aegean Uber. I would object. I see no value in adding a seperate section for passengers; if you want to include such a list then the names should be written into the article's History section (when it finally gets created). --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:32, April 12, 2019 (UTC)
