The Staff of Knowledge was a staff which belonged to the Greek philosopher Sokrates during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered the philosopher outside the Lavrio Silver Mine in Attika and they talked about the worth of life. In the end, Sokrates gave the mercenary this staff.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
The Staff of Knowledge, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Greek Staff, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Bladed Scepter, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
