The Snake Staff was a staff made and used in the 5th century BCE Greece. Carved to bear the likeness of a snake, the staff shone like gold in the sun.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.
