The Shamshir was a curved sword found in the 1st century BCE Egypt. Considered a predecessor to the scimitar, this blade was no less deadly.
The blade was made available to the Medjay Bayek of Siwa via an Animus modification by the Assassin Layla Hassan, who relived the former's memories.
