Salamanca is the capital city of the Province of Salamanca in the community of Castile and León in Spain.
In 1489, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins infiltrated the mansion of the merchant Gabriel Dominico in the city in search of a painting belonging to Leonardo da Vinci. Overcoming the traps installed in the mansion, they succeeded in retrieving the painting before escaping the estate.[1]
In the time between 1491 and 1499, the Spanish Assassins discovered their former member Diego de Alvarado stole two parts of the Staff of Eden, they worried that he'll go to the University of Salamanca to steal the other part they hide there. Unfortunately, the traitor preceded them and wounded a scholar in the process.[2]
