Retribution for a Rabble-Rouser was a virtual representation of one of Arno Dorian's genetic memories, relived by a Helix initiate through the Helix Navigator.
Description[]
Arno received a letter from the Assassin Council, which tasked him with assassinating Andrés de Guzmán.
Dialogue[]
Arno read the letter from the Council.
- Letter: The moderate political faction, the Girondists, have been executed. Visit retribution on Andrés Guzmán, an exceptionally effective purveyor of hatred against the members of the Girondist faction.
Guzmán is often to be found inciting the crowd in the Louvre gardens.
--The Council
Arno found Guzmán speaking to a crowd in the Louvre gardens.
- Guzmán: They called themselves "moderate", but the Girondists were never moderate, my friends! I ask you, where is the moderation in calling for war? War!
- Citizen: That's absurd!
- Guzmán: They wanted war and they got it! They brought foreign armies to our borders and put the Revolution in peril! We must sweep out those who are timid in defense of the Revolution! You, citizen, are an example! You cling to the old; you are unwilling to move forward! Brissot, Madame Roland, all of them were an impediment to the Revolution! Whoever slows the Revolution is its enemy!
Arno assassinated Guzmán.
- Citizen: Guzmán is fighting for revolutionary values!
Arno escaped the area.
Outcome[]
Arno assassinated Andrés de Guzmán, exacting revenge for the deaths of the Girondists and liberating the Tuileries district.
