Pavlopetri is an ancient sunken city and islet off the coast of the Dioskouroi Peninsula in Lakonia, Greece. The oldest dwellings in the area date back to 5000 BCE, and it's believed to have sunk following a series of earthquakes.
- The name Pavlopetri is anachronistic for 5th century BCE, as it comes from the Christian saints Peter and Paul. The ancient name for the site is unknown.
