The Olympic Spear

The Olympic Spear was a standard javelin used mainly in the Olympic Games in ancient Greece.

In 428 BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra acquired the javelin after escorting the Spartan pankration champion Testikles to Elis for the upcoming Olympic Games.[1]
