ACFT - Myanmar safehouse — The safehouse

A safehouse located outside Yangon, Myanmar, was used by members of the Zhawang Corporation in the 21st century.

History[]

Circa 2023, after escaping Yangon with a Piece of Eden retrieved from the Shwedagon Pagoda, Noa Kim, Shimazu Sei, Yuki, and Nathan Zhang traveled to the safehouse to lie low and hide from the Abstergo Industries forces hunting them. While Sei performed surgery on Yuki, who had been shot by Abstergo's Sigma Team, to remove the bullet in her body, the group discussed their next move.^[1]

Nathan declared that they needed to leave Myanmar as quickly as possible, due to Abstergo working alongside the Tatmadaw to look for them, and proposed that they steal a seaplane from a hangar located near Yangon's harbor. When Noa asked why they could not simply drive out of the country, Nathan remarked that the military was likely watching all the highways, making it impossible to leave Myanmar unnoticed. Yuki then suggested that they could use the two Pieces of Eden in their possession – Shwedagon's artifact and the crescent amulet – to fight against Abstergo, only for Nathan to point out that the artifacts' powers were useless against the Templars' superior technology.^[1]

As Nathan and Yuki got into an argument over their different ideas of what to do with the Pieces of Eden, Noa broke up the fight and declared that they would only use the artifacts if absolutely necessary. He then handed Sei the briefcase holding Shwedagon's artifact while he took the amulet, believing that separating the Pieces would reduce the risk of Abstergo seizing both in the event they were captured. Afterwards, the group left the safehouse, heading to Yangon's harbor to commence their infiltration as planned.^[1]
