The Mountebank (harvested from: Victor Wolcott) was an Animi Avatar used by the entertainment branch of Abstergo Industries, as part of their plan to influence the general public, via the console stage of the Animus technology. His specialty weapon was a carving knife, capable of slicing to the bone.
Unique moves[]
(Low Profile, Front)
Walking up to his target, the Mountebank brutally kicks them in their right leg, destabilizing them, before he unsheathes his carving knife and slashes them across the torso, finally impaling it into their spine. From there, he stores away his knife and watches as his victim collapses to the ground, where they soon die of blood loss.
(Low Profile, Back)
Approaching his target from behind, the Mountebank stabs his carving knife into their back, and before they can react in any way, he spins and slashes their newly inflicted wound, severing their spine. The movement makes his victim fall back, paralyzed and dying.
(High Profile, Front)
Rushing over to his target, the Mountebank grabs them by their left arm and roughly impales them in the stomach twice with his carving knife. As his victim recoils back from being punctured with the blade, the Mountebank releases his grip on them and watches as their body collapses to the floor.
(High Profile, Back)
After closing the distance between himself and his target from behind, the Mountebank roughly places one of his hands down onto their shoulder, forcing them to their knees. Holding their chin upwards, the Mountebank exposes their neck, before taking out his carving knife and slicing their throat. From there, his victim falls forward to the ground, dying of blood loss from their wound.
(Aerial Kill)
The Mountebank jumps down from above, unsheathing his carving knife in mid-air, before landing onto his target. As he crashes into them, he plants his blade into their head, impaling their brain, before standing tall and storing away his weapon.
(Bench Kill)
The Mountebank grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Mountebank forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking their neck on the bench behind them.

Trivia[]
- The term "mountebank" was an old word that was derived from the Italian words "montambanco" or "montimbanco." All three words referred to the fraudulent practice of selling dubious medicines on a stage, making the term synonymous with quack doctors and charlatans.
- The Mountebank shares the same High Profile, Back animation as the Barber, and an altered version of the Low Profile, Front kill move that the Mercenary possesses.
