Mastery Challenge is a two-part free update for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. The first part was released on 15 June 2021 as part of the Ostara Season content, and added repeatable combat and stealth trials, as well as new quests and a number of new weapons to be acquired from Hildiran.^[1] The second part was first teased on 12 April 2022, when a new achievement was added to the game, revealing that the Mastery Challenges would have a sequel titled "The Reckoning"; this second update was released the following week, on 19 April.
