Marylebone is a district of London within the City of Westminster.

History

Victorian era

In the mid-19th century, the Marylebone Church graveyard hosted a distinctive headstone utilized as a signaling point by the British Assassins, notably Ethan Frye and Indian Assassin Jayadeep Mir in the early 1860s. Jayadeep's nightly duty involved monitoring the headstone's orientation: upright indicating no messages, leaning right signaling danger, and left denoting a meeting. During one inspection, he intervened when he observed five men harassing an elderly woman named Maggie in the churchyard, promptly engaging them in combat and successfully rescuing her.

Modern times

In October 2016, Simon Hathaway and Anaya Chodary met up for fish and chips before Anaya had to leave London. Despite Simon's initial reluctance, the meal provided unexpected relaxation. Afterward, Anaya, wearing an odd expression, suggested they chat while walking. As they strolled through Thayer Street, Anaya dropped a bombshell, accusing Victoria Bibeau of being a liar. She claimed to have seen Victoria with Alan Rikkin at Bella Cibo, a revelation that left Simon stunned. Anaya insisted they were safe from eavesdropping, and Simon, trusting her instincts, pondered their next move. Anaya, curious about Simon's work, learned about his high-level project involving Piece of Eden 25 and Victoria's involvement. Simon, troubled by recent oddities, shared his suspicions, leading Anaya to express a desire to return to Simon's flat. Together, they caught a taxi back to Abstergo, and from there to Simon's Kensington flat.
