ACS Leopold Bacchus

Leopold Bacchus

Leopold Bacchus was a thief active in London during the Victorian era.

Bacchus was once an infamous jewel thief, but following a failed heist, he was caught and imprisoned by the Metropolitan Police Service. He somehow managed to escape from his bonds, however, and took refuge in the sewers underneath Lambeth, rarely venturing outside, and only under the cover of darkness.

In 1868, Bacchus was one of the criminals that Sergeant Frederick Abberline asked the Assassins Evie and Jacob Frye to capture and detain. The twins located Bacchus in his sewer hideout, from where they kidnapped him before handing him over to the authorities.
