Know Your Enemy was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[]
After collecting three polemarch seals, Kassandra returned to Lysander in Sparta.
Dialogue[]
(Dialogue continues from The Cost of War)
- Kassandra: Fine. I'll kill more for you.
- Lysander: My soldiers think me bloodthirsty. I know the cost of war. Neither side will be clean of it.
- Kassandra: Your plan is working.
- Lysander: And the Athenian think me battle shy!
- Kassandra: That makes you happy?
- Lysander: I held my army back, so they dropped their guard. And then we ran them aground.
(If players choose "How goes the war?")
- Kassandra: So I take it the war is going well for you, then?
- Lysander: Enough questions.
(If players choose "What will you do if you win?")
- Kassandra: What will you do if you win?
- Lysander: Enough talk.
(If players choose "OK. No more questions.")
- Kassandra: Fine. I won't ask any more questions.
- Lysander: Tell me then, Eagle Bearer, you must be pleased with our progress.
- Kassandra: As you said, tactics will win this.
- Lysander: When this is over, I'll try my hand at politics.
- Kassandra: I'm sure it'll suit you.
- Lysander: Go then, kill the enemy command. This is our war to win.
- Kassandra: I'll do it, General.
Kassandra returns to Lysander.
- Kassandra: I have the seals. Spartan troops have the outpost.
- Lysander: While you were gone, I oversaw the capture of three thousand. Yet still my men suck their thumbs.
- Kassandra: Three thousand prisoners?
- Lysander: Not anymore. They've been executed. Do you disapprove?
- Kassandra: They'd do it to us.
- Lysander: So we understand one another then.
- Kassandra: Perfectly.
Lysander turns infuriated.
- Lysander: Don't you dare lecture me, Eagle Bearer. The gods approve of my actions.
- Kassandra: Then I'll leave you to the gods.
- Lysander: Your Spartan blood boils, does it?
- Kassandra: These seals should provide you ample proof.
- Lysander: My command on the battlefield has been more than secured.
- Kassandra: You're welcome.
- Lysander: We're well-positioned for battle. Troops have been deployed and will control more ground soon. Your efforts were invaluable. I won't forget it.
- Kassandra: Thank you, General.
Outcome[]
Kassandra helped Lysander eliminate three Athenian polemarchs and recover their seals. She was again tasked to retrieve more.
