Khepri's Amulet was a visual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.
Description[]
If he and the Oracle are to attempt the forbidden spell, Bayek must find an amulet of protection from the Scarab god.
Dialogue[]
Bayek traveled to the foot of the mountain bearing the shrine to Khepri, which overlooked all of the Duat.
- Bayek: A steep ascent to Khepri's shrine! I could reach up to the heavens, touch the god himself.
Bayek climbed the massive mountain until he reached the summit, where Nena's voice rang in his head.
- Nena: These scarabs were weighed against the feather of Ma'at during the final judgement. It will protect us from the profane rite we must perform.
Bayek inspected the prayer scroll beside the scarab amulets on the altar.
- Bayek: Faithful is his watch, for in the home of Night and Darkness lives Khepri, the great Soul of the Universe. He whose emblem is the beetle, the god of resurrection. In the form of a scarab he watches the coming of Ra. And he flies upon the Boat and awaits there the time when he shall bring Life back to the god.
Bayek claimed one of the scarab amulets.
- Amulet of Khepri
Taken from the shrine of Khepri with the blessing of the Scarab god.
- Bayek: Do not stand as a witness against me, Khepri.
Outcome[]
Bayek obtained a scarab of Khepri to serve as a protective amulet in the ritual to destroy ka.
