"We will appear to concede ground to the workers, remember Rockefeller's dimes, but soon there will be no ground we don't own."
―A member of Abstergo Industries in a message, 1944.[src]

John Davison Rockefeller Sr. (9 July 1839 – 23 May 1937) was an American business magnate and philanthropist.

Rockefeller became well known in his later life for the practice of giving dimes to adults and nickels to children wherever he went. This was actually a ruse to raise the public opinion of capitalism.
