In June 2016, Edginton was announced to be writing Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants – Locus, a four-issue comic miniseries directly tying into the Last Descendants novel series by Matthew J. Kirby. Released later that year in September, the series was illustrated by up-and-coming artist Caspar Wijngaard.[2]
