Hunting the Hunter was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.

Description[]

Ezio Auditore received a contract from Lorenzo de' Medici to assassinate a marked man, in hopes of finding clues to the identity of whomever wanted Ezio dead.

Outcome[]

Ezio eliminated the marked target, and subsequently assassinated the bounty hunter, completing the contract.

Trivia[]

If the bounty hunter's body is looted, Ezio will acquire a key that is never used in the game. This key is similar to the one that can be found by looting a dummy when learning how to use Leonardo da Vinci's Hidden Gun attachment.
