The Hunting Knife was a knife common amongst the Greeks due to its small size, allowing for up-close-and-personal hunting.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the knife in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from corpses and chests, pairing it with her Spear of Leonidas.[1]
