Hirpes the Sordid (died c. 422 BCE) was a mercenary employed by the Order of the Storm, a branch of the Order of the Ancients during the Peloponnesian War.
Operating in Achaia around 422 BCE, Hirpes, who adopted a stealthy approach, was assigned to patrol the town of Pellene and keep a look out for the Spartan misthios Kassandra. However, he was hunted down by Kassandra herself when she became aware of the Tempest's utilization of the mercenaries to do her bidding.[1]
