ACA Hiram Stoddard

Bloody Hiram

"Bloody" Hiram Stoddard, was a ruthless British Assassin active during the 16th century who was also a close ancestor to Thomas Stoddard.

In 2016, his descendant, Charlotte de la Cruz, relived his memories in order to learn more about Consus.

Biography

By 1515, the young Hiram was in Italy, training under the tutelage of Ezio Auditore da Firenze alongside another young Assassin named Giovanni Borgia. The latter despised Hiram, jealous of his skills and likeable demeanor which earned to the young briton the praise of Ezio and the love of the beautiful Elena. A rivalry developped between the young Assassins, which culminated during a mission to recover an Apple of Eden that was lead by Hiram. During the mission, Stoddard witnessed something related to Consus, an Isuan entity with whom Borgia had a special affinity, that deeply affected him.

One year later, a darker Hiram was no longer following the Creed, obsessed with finding back the Apple that he recovered for the Brotherhood a year before. In Greece, Hiram assaulted the Assassin hideout where the artifact was hidden, but was ambushed by Borgia. While dueling, Borgia asked for Hiram's forgiveness and tried to convince his former rival to come back into the Brotherhood.

Trivia

  • There is some confusion between issues #11 and #12, with Hiram being at first depicted as being black haired and ambushed by Borgia in Florence in 1516 while the next issue depicted him with blonde hairs and stated that the ambush was in fact tacking place in Greece.
