Hidden Justice was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2020 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[]
Eivor finds a conflict between civilians and soldiers in Amienois.
Dialogue[]
Eivor wandered into a fight.
- French Soldier: Stand down! This is not your silver!
- French Man: Not a chance! It's our silver, you took it from us!
Eivor fought the soldiers.
- French Soldier: What? They have a heathen on their side?
- French Man: Are you friend or foe? No matter. Help us, stranger! I promise you a reward!
- French Soldier: Stand down, I say! Stand down!
Eivor killed the last of the soldiers.
- Eivor: That is the last of them. I could speak to the men and find out what happened here.
- French Man: Thank you, stranger. We underestimated their strength, and without you, we would have perished.
- Eivor: Not often I find civilians robbing armed soldiers.
- French Man: This is our silver they were trying to take. They raise our taxes and keep the coins for their own indulgence. True, you helped win it back, but we are not inclined to share. I trust that you will let us pass? In return, we will give you a map we stole from the governor's men.
- Eivor: Where does it lead?
- French Man: The governor has a place up north. The map shows a secret entrance. Imagine what you might find there! We plan to raid it ourselves, but I did promise you a reward.
- Eivor: Take the silver and leave the map.
- French Man: Thank you, stranger.
He handed over the map.
- Eivor: Map to a secret entrance... I wonder where it leads.
She traveled to Murmiliacum and found the entrance marked on the map.
- Eivor: This must be the place the peasants mentioned. A mint, interesting.
Outcome[]
Eivor got her hard-earned silver.
