- "She looks like a ghost ship! Aye, risen from the dead to sink us!"
- ―The Jackdaw's crew upon spotting HMS Prince.[src]
HMS Prince was one of five legendary ships encountered by the pirate Edward Kenway in the Caribbean, during the early 18th century.
A Royal Navy warship, the Prince was engaged by Edward Kenway's Jackdaw south of Saint-Domingue in the midst of a ghostly fog. The fog, along with the ship's black and tattered sails, gave her the appearance of a ghost ship. In battle, she utilized mortars and attempted to conceal itself within the fog. Eventually, the HMS Prince was sunk by the Jackdaw.
