Guthlaugr Stone-Eye

Guthlaugr Stone-Eye (born 846) was a Norse Viking mountaineer who lived during the 9th century and was a member of the Raven Clan. At some point in his life, his lost his right eye and used a shiny white stone as a prosthetic, earning him the epithet "Stone-Eye".^[1]
