They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Grave Dancer.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

The Grave Dancer (died 1582) was a Japanese rōnin and participant in kabukimono culture located in Osaka.

Biography[]

As a kabukimono, Grave Dancer was one of the many rōnin who attacked the communities across the provinces of Izumi Settsu and Harima. However, the priest Shin'nyo of the Nishinomiya Shrine talked with and enlisted the help of the Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe to assassinate eight of their leaders.[1]

By 1582, Grave Dancer and his gang, the Defilers, pillaged and profaned anything the locals held close. Lurking around Sumiyoshi Shrine, the Grave Dancer was found and assassinated by Naoe.[1]
