The Friday 13 raids were a series of coordinated attacks against numerous Knights Templar locations throughout Europe, orchestrated and supported by the Assassin Brotherhood, that took place on Friday 13 October 1307. The brainchild of Thomas de Carneillon, Mentor of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins, the attacks severely weakened the Knight Templar position in Europe and drove the organisation underground. During the attack on the Templar headquarters in Paris, the Temple, Jacques de Molay, Grand Master of the Templar Order in France, was arrested alongisde many of his brothers.
