Francesco I (25 March 1541 – 19 October 1587) was the second Grand Duke of Tuscany from 1574 to his death. Many of his descendants were also European monarchs, such as his great-grandson, Charles II of England. His daughter Marie reigned as queen of France.
In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[1]
