François Hanriot (3 September 1761 – 28 July 1794) was a French orator during the French Revolution. He served as Commander of the Armed Forces of Paris from 1793 until the downfall of the Jacobins.

During his tenure, Hanriot oversaw the arrest of the Girondists on orders of Maximilien de Robespierre. Arno Dorian and a team of Assassins were able to aid several Girondists in their escape from Paris and Hanriot.
