Hey,guys
I want your opinion, on the following topic
Bare in mind i have played every AC Game including Rogue besides Unity, which is waiting for me for when i get back home.
In Black Flag & Rogue, since desmond is dead, i have the feeling that the game kind of lost it's sense of direction, you're just a 'gamer' which relieves memories through an animus, you're not 'knowingly' assossiated with any faction, or at least until the very end. I still in my heart support the Assassins, but i think the game is advancing in a direction where both sides will be forced to join forces to fight Juno or something like it. I believe they're trying to fix the 'tainted' image of templars so they can squize more games out of the franchise , take for example rogue.
What do you think?
P.s NO SPOILERS FROM UNITY, thanks in advance.
I think the later games begin to focus more on finding the various pieces of eden and the modern day "technological" fight between the Templars and Assassins, in every game the main objective has been one item, and Assassins Creed: Unity is no different, follow the story line - find the item you search for, endgame. Still a good, fun game. 108.12.41.205 12:50, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
- Unity focuses on finding a person - the "item" is literally thrown in as some silly bonus. Crook The Constantine District 13:09, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
I think the lack of adequate time between games means that the stories don't get the chance to be interesting and innovating. I'm sure Unity's story took 2 minutes to write. I mean, delving a bit more into how Arno can somehow see his targets memories would surely make for an interesting story arc, but no. Only sales matter.
